Awesome! What a great dad doing his job for a young aviation enthusiast. Great job dad. And great job to you to Joey flying a helicopter for the first time. Im 36 years old and have only gotten to fly in a heli one time. What a memory, but you my man got your pops with you as the pilot in command, teaching you his knowledge of flying. I would have given anything for this. Great job you two. keep up the good work and make that dream happen!

It's incredible to see a 10-year-old already trying to fly, and in a helicopter, no less! Full respect to the father for instilling a love of the skies in his son. Sub for your growing. Great motivation.

A los 10 y 16 ya es piloto o menos y para licencia de conducción necesitas tener 18 años

Kids have natural eye-hand coordination. I could hold a stabile hover at around four hours in army flight school.

I held a stable hover for about 10 minutes within 1 hour of flying

A long time ago, a Warrant Officer Flight School (WORWAC 66-1) classmate of mine; David Impola of Negaunee, was a Test Pilot for Enstrom. Unfortunately, he perished in a night time Army National Guard OH-58 crash at or near Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. He was a good person. May he rest in peace.

Joe, I have to tell you, I had a difficult time hovering when I was taking lessons, it was more of a 'pendulum' than anything, lol. Congratulations big guy, you're gonna do very well. Thanks for taking me along, I enjoyed it. Happy Landings!

Ya, very cool.. My first time in an Enstrom was a 480 and I had 3,500 hours rotor time across the full Bell line. I was incredibly impressed with what a stable great flying machine it is. The simplicity of the systems design blew me away.

Superb video! The young man made pretty cool hovering, athough it is not easy for the first time...😊 I tried hover by an EC-120B colibri here in Hungary. The helicopter tried to fly every dierctions...😁

Because of the high-inertia blades, Enstroms make for very easy trainers. Possibly too easy, some find transitioning to two-blade teetering rotor systems a bit challenging. Two-bladers are better ab-initio trainers in that sense. But if you plan to go further with other multi-bladers, then the Enstrom is perfect. Certainly the nicest machines for autorotation, they just float on! Keep going young man, I wish you success, safety, and many happy hours of flying.
