RG Strike: "Who are you?" RG Impulse: "I'm you, but better in every way." I suppose Bandai just needs a few more tweaks and they'll be ready to make RG Double Zeta, Victory, and V2; maybe even AGE-2 and AGE-3, if they decided to give a hell about AGE at all. As for non-transforming ones with big backpacks, I'd say X and especially Double X; maybe even the Full Armor Gundam Thunderbolt ver. (of course, provided they make an all-new frame for it; which will then eventually lead to RG 2.0 RX-78-2)

As someone who owns a Gundam Impulse (MG Sword Impulse), this RG feels a lot better. Detail, articulation, build. Even though I was careful assembling mine and never broke any parts before or since, my Impulse needed glue in some parts. Shows you what 10+ years in improvements can do.

Seed was my entry into gundam so it holds a sweet spot for me even though I know most don’t care for it. I’m really glad to see this kit given such good treatment. I’m currently building a seed collection and this one has been on the list. Can’t wait till I build it!

Guys! For anyone who wants to buy this figure or about to build, Please be careful handling around the wrist and forehand. I got the wrist split in half on accident because it cracked on one side when i tried to remove the hand because the ball joint is very tight(sand it down or put it carefully). And the forehand cracked a little when I removed it from the inner frame. I superglued both of them, the wrist looks like crap tho but its my fault for using superglue

@@thomastsuihn Johnny Ridden's Zaku II is basically a retool of the RG Zaku II, which suffers pretty badly from "Early Real Grade Syndrome." Its not a BAD kit, it just suffers from a lot of lose parts and a wonky inner frame. To their credit, they tried to alleviate some of the problems with Johnny Ridden's Zaku... but its still built on the older RG Zaku II, so it still has a lot of problems.

I have to say Real Grade just looks so good. Despite the hand grenade qualities of older RG kits, they definitely exceed most MG for detail and the molded inner frame was innovative for the time. It was impressive what they could do with plastic injection despite how small things were. I think the molded inner was definitely trying to reach a little too far for what they were capable. You got the details and impressive technology, but lacked durability. Wonder what new RG's they're gonna come out with next.

Heads up to anyone planning on getting the RG Crossbones, A. Do it. it's a great kit and it looks amazing. However, one thing that he didn't cover cause it never happened to Mecha, be extremely careful while building the corefighter. The "wings" portion of the MS Inner Frame is super fragile. It broke on me, and it broke on my buddy. So just be aware, take extra care with the core fighter
