You don't have to fill the physical Arrival Card if you've already filled the online one, though almost everyone is holding their physical arrival card during immigration clearance.

Masks are no longer required in most indoor settings except healthcare facilities and public transport

Love going to Taipei time and time again. I know it better than my own city (Los Angeles). It is the best place ever. Keep going back. Never disappoints. Stop anywhere and look uncertain or confused, someone will approach and offer to help. English is Taiwan’s second official language.

Usually the crew will let you know how to transit. There might also be ground staff to bring / inform you which gate to go. You may also follow the signage/ flight information display system.

Hi, the taiwan website does not mention anything about implant. However this is from TSA website: What are the procedures if I have an internal or external medical device, such as a pacemaker or metal implant? Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) can facilitate your screening and reduces the likelihood of a pat-down. Inform the TSA officer that you have an artificial knee, hip, other metal implant or a pacemaker, defibrillator or other internal medical device. You should not be screened by a walk-through metal detector if you have an internal medical device such as a pacemaker. Consult with your physician prior to flying. If you choose to not be screened through the Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT), or a walk-through metal detector (WTMD), you will undergo a pat-down screening.

Yes you have to go through immigration if you travel from another country entering Taiwan. People who are required to fill in an Arrival Card: (1) Foreigners without an ROC (Taiwan) Resident Certificate / a Diplomatic ID Card / a Resident Visa. (2) Mainland Chinese with a Multiple Entry & Exit Permit for the purpose of sightseeing. (3) Hong Kong and Macau Residents with a Single/Multiple Entry & Exit Permit, excluding those who enter Taiwan with an Online Entry Permit / Landing Entry Permit / ROC (Taiwan) Resident Certificate. (4) Nationals without Household Registration without an ROC (Taiwan) Resident Certificate. Chunghwa SIM card is widely used, though other brands are also fine. Passengers must declare the amount of foreign currencies in excess of USD10,000 (or its equivalent in other foreign currencies).

Hi, immigration is the place for passport check. Customs is at the exit, if you don't have anything to declare, proceed to the "Nothing to declare" lane. I submitted the arrival card about 1 week before

You also need a visa (if your passport requires it). You have to fill the Online Arrival Card but you don't have to show it at immigration, as it will be in the system.

I guess they took them down to try to "hide" the distance because people didn't want the truth (What?! 10-15 mins walk?) Me on the other hand, I love huge never ending terminals!
