The jump at 1:25 is so buggy and inconsistent. I had to look this video up because I was convinced my game was bugged, I failed the jump 4 times (so far) from 4 relatively similar spots on the wall. If you don’t line yourself up exactly perfect you die. This is the kind of stuff that’s so fucking annoying about deadly obsession difficulty. These tomb raider games are fun but I always run into a couple problems where I think “what the hell were the devs thinking leaving this in the game?” Edit: died 3 more times trying to make this same jump, I even made it on the 7th attempt but then Lara immediately glitched out with the wall, refused to grab the ledge and just like clipped into the wall while stuck doing the midair falling animation. Then like 2 seconds later she fell and died. Fix your shit eidos Montreal!

Same shit, this game is a torture on deadly obsession! Somerime i think developers of tomb rider games are trolls. I'm trophyhunter and all three of tr games have some trolling on the way to platinum. First they had mp achievements in tr 2013, then in rise of tr they got me going through the challenges and now this!

I have to say I get as far as 1:44 and, as others have mentioned, cannot get to get any kind of swing going so simply cannot make the jump (this is on a PC) - darned frustrating and pretty much had to give up on the game as a consequence :-(

Finally got the 1:25 problem. This video helped because it shows Lara looking backward when she swings. To do this, I needed to both pull back and press the LT button at the same time when she was in the back of her swing. That's how to get a stronger swing. Took me over and hour or to to realize you could do that.

the swing at 1:16 is bugging me... i can't seem to get to the craggy rock because Lara doesn't use her grapple axe.. its annoying and i just can't do it!

1:44 Lara doesn't jump like that in my game. I've tried dozens of times but even if I swing her correctly she cannot even grap the fuckin edge of that ledge let alone landing on top. I cannot move any further in the game :(

I found I was getting better swings by pressing mouse left/right and forward/backward at the same time. Mouse by itself wasn't cutting it (even though that is supposed to work).
