Sorry about your fall and injury. The hikers are probably looking at your beautiful black eye. Great views today. You will notice that the derr in the Shennies are not afrsid of people. It's amazing how friendly they are. There was a mother-daughter pair on trail in 2022 called Lilo and Stitch. They raised money for Parkinson's. Hope your blisters heal quickly. I know, from experience how painful they can be. Take care and stay safe.

My favorite hiking shoes are the Altra Olympus 4. unfortunately they are not longer produced but they are much better than the Olympus 5…as you are so injured now I should send you some medicine as I am pharmacist. But my pharmacy is in Germany. Great that you keep on hiking! You will reach the goal :-))
