Hi Morgan, Stitch' mother here .I hope you are doing well! I want to thank you again for all the footage of the Appalachian trail. I used it (and those from Lightning) to compose a movie for Stitch. It brought me a lot of fun to do so and we (the parents) enjoy watching it: the views, the friendship and above all the fun you had together on the trail. Thank you so very much for filming and uploading . I hope you look back in a good way on this great adventure! best wishes from the Netherlands, Nelien

Turkey oven bags or nylofume pack liner. The trash bags and contractor bags gets tiny holes all over very quickly. Turkey oven bags are very light and durable enough to cook a turkey.

Hello from Virginia! I recently started your videos and really enjoyed watching you and your crew! That's tough to have to leave the trail with your foot problem, but you crushed it while you were there! I hiked almost 800miles in 2014 and will try again in a year or two, that's my plan. Hope you have healed up and are doing well. Thanks for sharing your journey, take care! Dale

I saw you wearing that UE hat on the AT but you had said you were from CA so I didn't realize until watching this that you were in Evansville for school! Hoosier here as well, about 2 hrs from UE.

Found you a few days ago and have now watched all your AT videos. What a series of unfortunate events! I really enjoyed your vlog -- hilarious commentary -- no whining & great attitude. Really sorry you were unable to complete the way you planned but you should be very proud of what you accomplished AND you made new friends that maybe someday you can travel to visit. Great content -- thanks for documenting and sharing!

As someone that has had bone spurs I can give you a little advice. Always wear shoes with an arch support and do not go barefoot. Take an empty 2 liter soda bottle. Fill it with water and freeze it. After frozen take it out and roll it back and forth with the injured foot. It will help with swelling. Take advil or something like that and try and stay off your foot. Best of luck on your recovery. Awe, wishing you a speedy recovery ❤ I had foot spurs before, not fun🥹 I have now a few on my spine 🙁 but I still hike. Unable to do long heavy carry hikes, ( plus I’m 61 and 4’11 - so I can only carry so much 😅😅😂) but enough to get me outdoors camping and short trail sections 😁😁😁 I’m sure we will see you back out there to finish the AT 👏👏👏👏👏😁😁😁all in good time 👍

Ouch 🤕 you did the right thing. When you go to doctors wear your hiking shoes just incase someone knows something about shoes. Your constant twisting and turning in trail does the damage. They might suggest a shoe change. Maybe an insert in one foot over the other. In case your leg is longer than the other. Only know it from other friends on trail. I had it a couple times in about 30 days my body resolved it. I Never had to get an operation. But that was me. Doing the right thing get it checked by doctor. X-rays might help. 😊 sorry for your pain and discomfort and disappointment! 😊 you’ll get out hiking again. Easy peasy girl. 😊

You are somewhat better that is good. Research bone spurs and do everything you can to get well, diet too. Don't think you missed too much everyone I follow is going through very wet trail conditions and lots of swollen rivers to cross with no bridges. No fun to summit in the clouds.
