At this point- I have lost a lot of respect for Peter. He claims he is in love with three women- which means he has no clue what that word means. I love that Hannah Ann father grilled him and let him know- "you do not throw that word around with my daughter-" and yet, he did- which was completely discounted later as he said the same words to Madison. Madison's father wasn't having it either- "how do I know you are genuine"- "well, if it was the last week"- "well, it isn't." I love both of these dads- they brought some much needed reality into this situation. Kelsey- you are a lovely lady and you have a beautiful family and you dodged a bullet, I promise you. Victoria F- there isn't a doubt in my mind that Merissa was telling the truth. You deflected- you tried to turn it around on Peter, played the victim, had hysterics, were your manipulative self and stormed off- AGAIN. He stated- you two cannot even communicate- and yet- he kept you around. I think Hannah Ann is a sweet girl, wonderful family and much too young to be thinking about marriage- besides, her father would probably deck Peter if he showed up on their doorstep. Madi- you are a sweetheart; bless you for being honest and steadfast about your own decisions in terms of intimacy, marriage and faith. I think waiting until now to have this conversation was up to you to determine when you felt comfortable enough to do so. Good for you- you haven't spent that much time alone with this man and you have been one of the few women in this season who has held strong to your own character, truth and integrity. We don't know how this ends- but given his track record of baffling decisions- of saying one thing and doing another- of turning a blind eye to endless manipulative behavior and tossing the word "love" around - I have to say- I think you're too good for him. I hope Tyler C reaches out to you- that man is a true gentleman. He would honor and respect your decision to save yourself for marriage and he's from the south. Many contestants have come out afterwards and said they just used it as off-camera time to talk and spend time together. However, Peter is Windmill boy, so I agree she was naive to think he wouldn't want to have sex in the FS. But she is young and maybe she was hopeful that his feelings for her were as strong as hers were for him. If they were, he shouldn't have had any problem honoring her request. I felt bad for Madison because it is very apparent during the night portion of the Hometown date that she was struggling to tell Peter two things: her virginity and that she is in love with him. She is very mature for her age and it seems like her mind processes things pretty differently from the other girls. She obviously came on this show knowing about the Fantasy suites and that Peter had done it four times in a windmill before. But I believe that's not all she sees in him, there is more than just Windmill Pete in Peter and she could see those other qualities that she is looking for in a guy (she has mentioned this multiple times) that's why she came on the show! Other people may think that she is selfish for giving him an 'ultimatum' but I think she is giving him a choice. They have developed strong and real feelings and i feel like I can honestly give her zero faults for expecting some kind of standard (intimacy wise) from the guy she is emotionally-invested in! You don't have to actually get intimate in the Fantasy suites!! If Peter chooses to not align his actions with Madi's values, then I think it is completely fair that she lets him know her stance before the FSs. People are blaming Madi and claiming that she is the new Luke P but lets be real, it is Peter's decision now and Madi is fully entitled to leave if she feels that their values don't align with each other after all these time, despite how strong their feelings are for each other.

As much as I do feel like the best timing to tell him was during their hometown date, I can understand her hesitance (poor girl was literally struggling!) because she is such a reserved person, talking about that topic is not easy for her. She's been dropping hints throughout their dates from the beginning that she 1) always takes things slow in relationships, 2) is religious and has strong faith her entire life, 3) her dad literally told Peter that she was 'pure' lmao. And these are only what we see on TV, they probably had more in-depth convos off screen that we don'tget to see. I am pretty sure even if Madi doesn't tell him that she is saving herself for marriage, Peter should have more or less gotten the idea of that. Unless he is a wood block.
