Brendan Fraser’s Sons Call Out His Worst Dad Jokes at the Oscars (Exclusive)

Brendan Fraser, who's nominated for Best Actor for 'The Whale,' chats with ET’s Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner at the 95th Academy Awards. The actor makes Hollywood's biggest night a family affair by bringing his two sons, Leland and Holden, and his girlfriend, Jeanne Moore. Brendan’s kids couldn’t shy away from teasing their dad about his jokes. The Oscars air Sunday, March 12 on ABC.

Dude Brendan tries to keep his facial expressions to a minimum when she asks his kid if they think hes cool, and he expected to be bagged on (probably in a loving way) but then when they said "he's pretty cool" you could tell he was surprised. Thats when he almost cries. Its easy to not show emotion in almost all scenarios, but hard when something you dont expect happens. Theres no way you can prepare yourself for it.

It was extremely gratifying that Brendan won. Since the first movie I saw him, “George of the Jungle”,in with my then five year old daughter, he became one of my favorite actors. It was a silly movie but there was something so genuine that came through the screen. Since then, I have seen many of his movies and I truly admire the man for always remaining a genuine and likable human being despite all of the obstacles he has encountered throughout his life and career. For me he seems to be most like his character Adam, from “Blast From the Past”. He has an innocent quality but is not a fool.
