I think it's pretty low how yall throw in his past issues with addiction on the tail end of asking about what medical problems he had. As to insinuate there's a possibility the accident was drug related. Because that's exactly how it comes across. If he's truly clean you are really doing him a huge disservice. Overcoming addiction was probably the hardest thing he ever had to do in life. No need to even mention it unless you're reporting facts from his toxicology report. Rest in peace sweet Leslie. Well said indeed. I was thinking the very same things. I'm 15 years sober with no relapses. I sure hope when I die people don't make inferences & speculate based on old ass news. Will they bring up my case of lice in the 4th grade, the tonsillectomy followed by a serious dental accident in the 3rd or OMG, maybe my miscarriage at 15?? Post autopsy & toxicology those issues should only be addressed & confirmed by a medical examiner/pathologist. No one should ever start speculating nonsense. Some people have brains they don't use as well as mouths they shouldn't use. Leslie's loss is being felt my so many people. He was a part of us all in some unique kind of way. He was hilarious of course but he was also very real & we were drawn to that, we felt it. He allowed that, he welcomed & encouraged that connection. He appreciated humankind & wanted us to know it, love it & feel it too... with him... together. Nothing & no one can take his place. He owns those places in our hearts & minds.

Does not matter who you are, put your faith in Jesus and heaven. God loves you. Jesus did suffer onnthe cross for our sins and made us innocent for entry into heaven. See you in heaven Leslie.

Absolutely no need to reference his history of substance, especially when the details are not yet known. That's vile reporting. This piece was otherwise respectful and thorough. No need. Shame on you.
