He’s been in the spotlight since he was a little kid and so he’s had awkward moments, said problematic things, etc. basically he’s been a typical teenage boy but unfortunately because he’s an actor people use that as an excuse to bully the hell out of him. He also has ADHD which people make fun of him for too. It’s just very gross. He was 14 when they started filming but had been on a Nickelodeon show since he was like 9. I can’t imagine being under that kind of scrutiny at that age! He’s honestly just a normal kid trying his best (and sometimes messing up). I wish him all the best, he seems like he’s growing up just fine.

As hard as it was to watch Allison turn into a new version of herself, the takeaway is that she had it coming. Her pain and anguish is justifed sans the Luther moment which still feels too far. You can see Emmy struggle with it as well here but so much of her awfulness comes from Allison's perspective with a "fuck this life" thing that is far too relatable and far too over the top but warranted. I loved the third season because it was stretching our comfort with the characters to fine point. Season three opened a lot of wounds, even more than season two did. They're all damaged but they get to confront issues they've all been putting off for so long. It's an amazing show and the growth, whether backwards or fowards, it's still growth for their characters and I cannot wait to see what they do with our last season. They have a lot to answer for and a lot to make amazing.
