I feel like she should have asked: "What genre do you feel like a song should be when you write it?" I feel like there are some questions that the interviewer could have asked that were more in depth. Like about minority representation, mental health issues, sterotyping, etc. This show is so clever and it doesn't really get the viewership that it deserves. I didn't even know about this show until it was on Netflix.

I remember when I first started watching Crazy Ex and couldn't understand what people on Internet meant by saying that what it's fandom may lack in quantity (that you'd expect for a genius show like that), it makes up for with fiercely engaged fans. After seeing it 4 times in the entirety on Netflix, one more time with a friend and told about it almost every person I know, including convincing my therapist to watch it as well - the only thing I can say is... Well, I do understand it now xD

It's not the gay couple. I can't pinpoint everything Rebecca says but I've heard almost every single one of them in my gender in film class. Like how she treats the men and kind of looks down on them like Nathaniel cuz he's male straight and white (from "who's the new guy"). Don't get me wrong I love the show so much and understand that she has the right to state her viewpoints but sometimes it's too much like she's pushing it.
