I randomly found it on Netflix, wasn't doing anything else, I watched the first few minutes then she started singing, I paused and was like am I really going to watch a musical....and thank god I unpaused it, 4 seasons later it's my 3rd favorite show of all time.

That's exactly how I felt. When I watched it and it broke out into a song about 5 mins into the 1st episode, I was like "aw fuck, here we go" and I was about to watch something else, but the song actually made me laugh as it focused on darker, more adult oriented comedy and that was me hooked.
