You are way faster than that Corvette in the turns and ever so slightly slower in the straights. Overall you were cleaning that Vette’s clock, they should have just let you pass. Great driving as always.

@@ErickFK8 A good upgrade. But you don't need an IC to track. Radiator will better serve you to keep the temps down.

@@EnterTheAdventure i was going to get the IC then get a tune. I also have flex fuel installed. I hope it doesnt overheat during the runs, if so then radiator might be next

@@ErickFK8 The ethanol tune will greatly help to reduce temps. Also look into getting a higher flowing grill. In my testing I found the IC just delays the overheating, but easily remedied by taking a cool down lap and monitoring ECT temps on the headunit via Hondata. I'm also running a vented hood, Koyo Radiator and Acuity reverse flow hoses. If you're not pushing 10/10ths, you should be fine.

Damn, that was so close to beat Corvette but Corvette driver won't let you pass him and blocked you. I think you will have a chance to beat Corvette someday! Awesome job!

Thanks George! Usually in our run groups we get a point by or they let us by. But they overbooked the event and so we had Spec Corvettes in our group, and they do a wheel to wheel series, so they were not very friendly that day and I don’t think they knew our passing etiquette. Oh well, still had fun.

Those Corvettes were all over the place on those turns. They really didn't want to let you pass LOL. Idk if their being inconsiderate or just don't want a civic to get past them hehe

Hondata FlashPro connected via Bluetooth to the Hondata app on the head unit.

On time you were likely faster but did not look like you had enough to pass. Not sure he blocked but you would need to pass out of a corner and you could not.

Agreed, I did not have enough room to get a pass in, and I didn't want to divebomb him either. Our rules & driver etiquette state, if a car is in your mirrors like that, just let them by, they're faster.

Have you ever tried the yokohama advan a052? Also do you get any rub with the 275 rt660?

I've not yet tried the A052, but my peers have and they're quite fast. Pretty much the fastest street tire before going to an R compound. Just a tiny bit of rub with the 275's, but i've rolled my front fenders and shaved the rear plastic pieces a bit when i was on the 265 RE71R's and the +38 wheels.
