Avantasia was formed by Tobias Samet and the idea was join the best musician of power metal scene, here is whit Andre Matos one of the best vocalist of this gender and creator to whit bands like Helloween or Stratovarius. This is the firts song of their his firts album the metal opera part 1. It's a conceptuall album. They have a very good band call it Ed Guy, i recomend teather of salvation album.

This song is part of a Metal Opera (that's the actual name of the album). It is very hard to understand the meaning of the song by looking at the lyrics alone. The concept of the album is very critical of the Catholic Church, but it is far from being satanic or anything like that
