Eh, that's true, and that's the explicit purpose of why he caught Starly, but Swellow, Staraptor, and Talonflame all put in the work, getting multiple solid victories, while Pidgeotto accomplished squat all and Noctowl and Unfeazant only managed one significant win each. (Plus, as we all know, Unfeazant lost to a Riolu, which I think balances that out.)

I find it funny how the anime made some gym battles harder compared to the games. Viola have a surkit with ice beam, signal beam and bubble beam followed by a vivillon with a sleep powder, solar beam combo. Grant have a tyrunt with draco meteor of all things. Korrina uses mega lucario in the gym battle. Wulfric have mega abomasnow.

So I guess instead of Ash-Greninja, we ended up more with a Ash-Talonflame... or Enter The Unown-Talonflame. Gosh, did he do spectacularly in the run. I expected as much though given his move-set, much as I also expected Greninja to be basically useless given it's canon move-set. I wasn't bothered at all by the tripod set-up; it was actually quite nostalgic watching this like an early KZbin Pokémon Let's Play. The commentary was amazing as always and so many of your battles were tense and exciting. Best of luck if you decide to do Alola... which I have no idea how you'd go about it given how some of the canon-battles and team compositions work out.

Everyone's worried about the phone's camera quality but I know a life hack so there's not much light or bad quality to worry about: 1. Grab a box and poke a hole in it big enough for the camera to show what's inside the box. 2. Make sure one side of the box leaves room for your hands to enter to grab your 3DS 3. Leave your 3DS inside the box so you can play it. This trick actually works and better if you don't have a tripod or a dark room. I did this myself and if can work for all handheld consoles!

Nice challenge. These are the only thing I would've done better: - Pikachu having Quick Attack, Thunderbolt, Iron Tail & Electro Ball at the beginning. I know this is broken. - Remove Froakie's Quick Attack, give it Double Team instead. You even said the link to the episode in this challenge. - Remove Pikachu's Thunder Shock. Teach it Iron Tail. Pikachu only used Thunder Shock in the Indigo League series. - Remove Goodra's Dragon Breath. Teach it Rain Dance. Only Sliggoo used Dragon Breath. - Remove Noivern's Tackle. Teach it Dragon Claw. It only used Tackle before the 8th Gym. I recommend doing this challenge in a modded Pokémon X game. Like with Tierno, Trevor, Titus, Astrid, Sawyer, Alain, Diantha & Ash-Greninja in the game because only Malva appeared in the anime after the Elite 4 with Siebold in the Mega Evolution specials against Alain and Wikstrom only showing up in the opening of the Diancie movie and making his debut in a couple of weeks in Journeys.

It would for everything but totem pokemon most of them are nightmares enough. (Has vietnam flashback from totem Togedemaru, Marowak, and Mimikyu.)

The xy Pokémon anime series was the last good Pokemon anime so far. The videogame xy Pokémon was good and I played happy through my walkthrough. Nice video!
