I've been a bullied girl (people saying I have no talent) and for some reason, the first time I listened to 2:35 , I was suddenly filled with resolve to get back up on my feet and create my own future. Mike Shinoda's line still rings in my head, from time to time
@ThatIsDopeBro8 жыл бұрын
that is probably the corniest thing I have ever read.
@CyndraMystic8 жыл бұрын
Every well, but it helps me cope. Especially when I'm constantly around poisonous people I can't get rid off. Right now I've succeded in making my life a little bit better. It's partially through my resilience and partially because I listen to songs that gives me the drive to improve myself.
@ThatIsDopeBro8 жыл бұрын
+Queen Cyndra Vivala no, the corny part was being bullied for having no talent. like wtf, do you go to the same school I see on TV like highschool musical? like really? you get bullied... for not having a talent? I guess if I went to your school I would have already killed myself by now.
@CyndraMystic8 жыл бұрын
Well to get a little context, I was unfortunate to be a victim of stereotyping, cause I look asian and my talents and grades were mediocre at best. There was an alpha wolf of a girl and her possie who would mock me personally for it. From elementary to high school I've endured some form of bullying, mostly gossiping and from adults the look of dissapointment.

Thanks for helping me and your huge fan base to get through the trials of growing up, it was so much easier knowing someone else had to go through the same motions. Love all their stuff, it's a pure talent. It's a real tragedy we won't hear anything from Chester anymore. I could listen to his voice till I die and be the happiest person in a world. All time favourite song. Mike's second verse still gives me goosebumps. Listen to a lot of metal these days, but LP and Slipknot started it all. Without LP's first 3 albums, I wouldn't know what good music sounds like. The sheer quality and creative drive behind them is unmatched even today. The only album that comes close is Themata by Karnivool. Issuses is my favourite atm, yet another band that collab a bunch of different styles. Will always love and respect this band, rest in peace Chester.
