I've been into metal for 30 years and I agree. The whole album is pretty much the apotheosis of everything I've ever loved about metal: aggressive yet intricate, desolate but beautiful, heavy as fuck, and with lyrics reflecting a clear-eyed assessment of where civilization is headed.

I saw Etheos as an opening band at the Summer Slaughter Tour, and remember going "Whoah, what a unique sound. That bassist sounds like Eva Brewer." Of course, after looking into it, it's him. Just remembered Ethoes exists and am listening through all their stuff now.

Just saw you guys in Denver. I became super interested in the sound check when the bassist and drummer where sound testing and riffing off each other. I could've swore I'd seen the bassist' tattoos .. I also recognized his techniques sound! It wasn't until after the show I went out and saw the bass mag with Evan Brewers name on it! Can't believe I stumbled into a show and wound up seeing one of my brother and I's favorite bassist. Amazing show guys, I will remember the name Entheos next time it pops up in "bandsintown"
