I love the enthusiasm and support Kamala is receiving but the goal is to secure/get enough electoral college votes to win this thing. She's in a good position to win the popular vote. The enthusiasm needs to be seen in those swing states. Evidence of such momentum can be measured in the new registered voters in those battleground states.

I got called "woke” the other day. I had posted a comment about John Douglas ex-FBI, author of "Mindhunter" and other books) who said you can tell a lot about a man by how he talks about and treats women. This from an agent who studied serial killers for a large part of his career. I wrote back that in the US, Governor DeSantis’ general counsel, Ryan Newman, was asked to define “woke” and he responded that the term means “the belief there are systemic injustices in American society and the need to address them.” I said that if that was the poster's definition of "woke", I would accept the epithet.
