Entire History of SHIMO Revealed + Official Size (Novelization)

Little information is available regarding Shimo's origins. However, according to Iwi prophecy, Shimo was previously a tranquil and kind-hearted Titan with the ability to manipulate ice. The Skar King captured Shimo and exerted control over him by means of a blue crystal. This crystal compelled Shimo to carry out the Skar King's commands and subjected Shimo to torment. Eventually, Shimo was coerced into initiating the final Ice Age. Ultimately, Godzilla engaged in combat, emerged victorious, and incarcerated Skar King, together with his contingent of enslaved Kongs and Shimo, in the profound recesses of the Hollow Earth. According to the novelization of Godzilla X Kong, it is stated that Shimo is not the progenitor of all Titans, but rather an ancient female ice Titan belonging to its own unique Shimo species.

perspective. The camera was lower and was behind Kong looking up at her while she was standing on a raised ledge. The rest were normal camera shots. It was intentional as it was her first showing on screen and they wanted to immediately give the audience the sense that she's the biggest titan yet, and therefore will be a problem.

Exactly, people love to cram new shit into older events that have already been explained. In fact, the entirety of GxK feels crammed into the timeline of the MonsterVerse, and it just doesn’t fit as a Godzilla and Kong film. I say this as someone who loved the previous films, even GvK, because at least that was memorable and not complete slop.

It's crazy how Godzilla stans refuse to accept that Shimo is the strongest titan. It's stated in the novel that she's slightly more powerful and every single showing of her interacting with Godzilla seems to confirm it, yet they still want to pretend that he can beat her and some will even go to delusional levels to pretend he was holding back somehow while hitting her with fully charged atomic breath multiple times lmao. Just because it didn't hurt her doesn't mean he wasn't trying to, she's just stronger.

She is maybe the "original". Dr. Andrews said she "was translating in a hurry. It could also mean ultimate titan or quintessential titan." Given the fact that Godzilla is mentioned possibly 2-5 million years and Shimo at least 3 million years, she is more likely the "ultimate titan".

I believe that Shimo froze Ghidorah, but only after Godzilla had defeated him, remember that even Godzilla could break out of the ice, after he was frozen, and Tiamat literally chills in a frozen space, Ghidorah would have gone down so easily, so I strongly believe he only got frozen after Godzilla defeated him.

Super charge evolved is just a phase of Evolved Godzilla. Shimo was also much weaker in GxK being in pain because of the crystal, imprisoned so long and resisting to fight. Shimo is described as the ultimate titan for a reason.
