I've just found you! I watched your wonderful video yesterday morning doing my ironing. I loved it all. I am 71 but wear similar things to you. I love your home and really enjoyed listening to you. In the afternoon I went to Tesco for a small shop. I bought my monthly Period Living magazine. At home I sat with a cup 9f tea to look at my magazine. And there you were in your beautiful cottage. The garden patio area is looking so nice and it works having different sitting areas - more relaxed, eating etc. Also works well for times of the day with the sun. I would be exactly the same as you re people coming to photograph! Your house looks beautiful but I am like you a perfectionist, I’m over thinker as well. No worries, I am feeling the same, I just had work done at my house and I have the contents of my garage spread out in my den and back yard. Plus the entire storage area and its contents are coated in concrete dust, and I am going away for one week. So am leaving it undone and will attack it when I return home. Totally can relate to the home anxiety. My husband and I had a long weekend recently and we have had a lot going on in our lives lately so we took a long weekend away locally (1.5 hr drive). I felt like we had to get out of our house because while we are so grateful to own a home it is so true that while we are home there are just so many things looming that we feel we need to do! It was great for us to get away for two nights so we could properly relax

Girl i get you about fixing up the house and going bonkers. Don't worry, I was born and raised in Los Angeles but I've lived in Germany for four years when my husband was in the military. Then moved and now I live in Georgia,USA. When I have family from L.A. coming to visit me ,I go bonkers to freshen my house. I start Diy's to give a dull space some jazz. I make a honey-do list for my husband lol. I do have my own home and its a cottage customized home I designed. My husband and I had our dream home built by 2018. Although, anyone who comes through my door I always receive such sweet compliments of my property, I still somehow feel insecure or as if the unfinished business I know about in my home, someone else will notice that. So never feel you're the only one who gets caught up in the entire mess our mind can create at times, when it comes to how others view the place we call home. I completely get it lol❤ On another note, those outfits look beautiful on your body. You are beautiful. Lots of love from southeast Georgia 💗

I just wanted to say that I really understand how you feel around the anxiety for the photoshoot, it's difficult when you struggle with anxiety because it can take away from the special and exciting times in life. I usually feel the happiness (mixed with relief) when it's all over so maybe you're like that too and experience the joy after the event when the stress and anxiety is no longer there! Appreciate you being honest about feeling your house is never perfect and "finished" but just know that other people don't see the imperfections that you do as we are always our worst critics. You could always have the delicate flowers in pots that you can keep closer eye on/move around dependent on type. I think lavenders would be really lovely on your patio as it fits the French Provence vibe. Others that are more hardy are things like sedums and salvias It’s not the wrong thing, gardening unfortunately is pretty much trial and error. Main thing is you’re having a go and doing it. :)

The bridesmaid dress looks amazing! The way it's wrapped and the earrings and shoes are perfect. I don't think it needs a necklace; it may ruin the neckline, but try it on to see. I like your hair down with it. I like the casual M&S shirt dress without a belt; it creates an elongating line that isn't there when belted. The red Vivaia sandals and chanel ballet flats are my favorites. Red ballet flats or sandals always make a plain outfit special and chic. The house looks great! I wonder if getting brass door plates at the bottom of the front and back door would help hide bet scuffs / less mtc.

I'm exactly the same when it comes to my house. I'm always looking around at what needs to be done. Everyone always says the house looks lovely but all I see are the faults. I have endless lists with what needs to be done, I feel like I tick off 5 things and then I add 10 more the next day 😩 but I heard a saying once that helped me a bit and it was that a home will never be complete, it's a project that you will work on for life as there is constant upkeep. It helped relieve some of the anxiety I have. Hope it helps you too! ❤

Main table there .. instead of the little one was literally what i was about to say… I would turn the chairs slightly so little more inviting to sit down facing out to the garden defines it as a coffee spot more than dining.. and saves dragging of chair by guests or having to pick it up yourselves

But I agree, that the paddingtin hat is a bit too much for that dress. If you were wearing a more fitted dress with less material or a pants outfit, I think the hat would look great and not so overwhelming. With current outfit it kinda swallows up your lovely self.

I honestly loved every single outfit! I might be sold on the shoes too. I don't tend to spend so much on shoes. But when they are great quality and comfortable, I wear them until they break apart - so hopefully cost per wear won't be an issue. I liked the second Sunday beach day outfit best. You can tie up the long cords for the lamps so they're not draping on the floor for a cleaner look if you want as well. Just use a bread tie or rubber band or even string.

You look stunning in your bridesmaid dress! Annuals look best when crowded-plants energy will go into Blooms and not into spreading roots. Try adding in a few more & I think you’ll like it better. Zinnia, marigolds and cosmos grow well from seed. Use a quality organic bloom fertilizer. With all your rain- you’ll have a burst of color! Also black really compliments your skin and hair color. I sometimes schedule a get together at my house specifically to give myself the motivation to get done all the little things that I can’t seem to get done otherwise and then the time I get to spend with friends and family and the lovely looking and cleaned home that I get to enjoy afterwards is when I relax and enjoy the accomplishment and satisfaction of a job completed I never enjoy the process of getting it done 😅 and I definitely feel anxious about things undone but I use that as motivation for later enjoyment and I know that’s just the way I’m wired why should I try to be someone I’m not or feel like I am inferior because of that? It’s part of embracing who I am.
