Great collection of plants and they are in great shape! I collect Hoyas so we’re “Samesies” in that respect. I see yours a flourishing in pon - I might try switching mine over to see if they grow any better.

Thank you.😊if I may make a recommendation, I think soilless aroid mix works better with my Hoya than Pon. Pon works better for my Alocasia and Syngonium. I have links to the Pon and Aroid Mix that I use.

You can get the clear plastic strip/ flap weatherproofing. That's what I did, and I can keep the humidity at 80%. I tried every other weatherstripping, but then the doors wouldn't close.

Hello, your plants are very beautiful... I am starting with some plants, I have a question: the plants you have in water, what fertilizer do you use and how often do you change the water? thank you very much if you help me.

My faves are: amzn.to/4bD0Hra & amzn.to/3yjn9Hw Ideally i should change my water every 2 weeks or so. But i just top up the water whenever it runs low. I mix fertilizer in water separately in water then add that to the plant.

Hi! Thank you for watching! I’ve found that plants in water need high amounts of light to keep them growing well. Hi! Thank you. Sorry to hear. I have actually never had mealy bugs to my knowledge so I have never had to treat them. I currently use horticultural oil to care for my plants as a preventative measure. The label mentions that it also works for mealy bugs. Maybe you can try that? Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.

New to your channel...Loved your video. How do you keep the fungus gnats under control with so many plants?

Thank you for joining us. A few things help. There’s so much I can say on that topic. There was a time when the gnats were really bad and few years ago. That’s when I started to under water my plants and that has helped significantly. I also add a lot of perlite and coco husks to my soil to keep it airy. And I’ve noticed the gnats are much less interested in that soil. I spray my plants with insecticidal spray often and sometimes I let it hit the top soil just to get rid of anything that might be in there. For a long time I literally had 0 gnats. One of my BIGGEST tip’s though is to change the soil that new plants come in. I always throw out the soil that plants come in for pests reasons. After years of no gnats, I relaxed on this a few months ago and that’s when they came back. But the tips above keep them from getting crazy. I also try to eliminate them with my hands as soon as I see them since they breed quickly. Hope this helps.

Maybe a greenhouse? That way the humidity stays in the greenhouse. But you definitely want to be careful with mold in your home

I find the tetrasperma finicky too. I’ve heard others say they are prone to root rot and I’ve found that to be true
