@@memoryman15the gag is that the coalition deemed Allen a failure and had no idea that he had his adaption ability. I wouldn’t be surprised if then unopan with 2 eyes was deemed of failure not because of strength but because of something dumb like they think he has a deformity for having two eyes

@@JimmySaulGoodmanMcGill1960 the goal was to make Unopan super soldiers, so if that was the goal for a human breeding program they would look strictly at performance rather than superficial appearance. More than likely a one-eyed human would be less effective in combat due to a reduced depth perception from lack of parallax, but not if they also developed an alternate method of depth perception by chance.

I haven't paid attention to paperback comics for decades. It appears that the Invincible comics are a critical success. I like how the series incorporates a lot of DC & Marvel influences in their story. Cecil definitely reminds me of Marvel's Nick Fury. I have watched the animation series on Prime, the animation quality is excellent.

What if the other Unopan test subjects developed separate powerful abilities than Allen later on, like the two-eye Unopan having Super-Vision ( Heat vision ♨️, Ice-vision ❄️, microscopic 🔬, X-ray 🩻, electromagnetic⚡️🧲, etc.), telepathy, telekinesis and super intelligence. The multi-armed 💪🏾🙌🏾🫳🏾 Unopan, having Superstrength, dexterity & Stretching/Shapeshifting abilities, and the lumpy Unopan having greater durability & duplication ability through his lumps (Can produce nuke-proof armies & battalions that can survive in space).

I may not have truly read the comics, but isn't the coalition war decades later, not centuries? Like 60-100 years after Mark takes leadership of the Viltrumites, because Eve was on her deathbed for the first time too old age since his daughter resented Mark for the war and only came back to him to mourn the soon to pass Eve.
