Cheers 👍😁 I love Surround Sound and have just set up a 5.1.2 system in my small bedroom, with a Sony 900E, which has an amazing picture. My bed and a stool become my reclining Movie Seat! My front soundstage is 4 feet wide but enough to get stereo separation and I'm 1 metre away from both the Side Surrounds. It's not ideal but with enough tweaks I've nearly got it to my liking. Even set up Ceiling satellite Speakers above my head and am in the process of hiding wires in low profile trunking. When it's done. I'm decorating the whole room and will get some plaques and posters. I'd love a dedicated HT room but then again, I'd love to win the Lottery too! I'm very thankful for what I've got and the sound and picture quality is amazing.

now 4k UHD is a thing, how are you doing your collection? getting movies again and selling the bluray version? or collecting both? only getting 4k movies you really like and keeping the bluray collection going as normal?

Peter Corfield so right now most of my 4K copies are review copies. So I’m not buying a whole ton. I would say just get 4K stuff that is well reviewed, because some of them aren’t much better than Blu-ray to justify another $20 purchase. I would trade in Blu-rays for new 4K copies though since most 4K come with a Blu-ray as well.

Nice collection. Very expensive / impressive. One thing I would recommend is to go OLED. Way worth it, especially for physical media 4k discs. OLED is hands down the best.

Do you catalog your movies? If so what do you use? I use the "CLZ Movies" app. It is amazing. Only have to scan the barcode with your phone. You can even put the storage bin and number location of the movie or the current value of them if you want.

Hey ebay has lots of "dealers" that sell slip covers only no movies. Just search under bluray movies and they come up mixed in with the movies. I have a huge collection also, starting to get rid of my "not favorites"

Just recently found your channel and really like your content as I'm a big Bluray and home entertainment fan so I have subscribed. I have an idea for you man and that is "custom shelving". That area where you have the book case should be custom shelving all the way to the edge of the wall/ceiling. I have a friend that is a carpenter and he does jobs like that for me for not much money and he comes over and hangs out. I'm sure you could find someone local or through the channel that would help you out and it would really tidy up the blurays. I have over 1000 blurays and DVDs not including games and I packed some away as I prefer it neat and tidy and nicely organized. I have seen other people with massive collections but its a mess with stacks on the floor and I hate to see movies displayed like that. I appreciate smaller collections that are nicely displayed in one uniform and shelving unit with movies properly categorized and that thought and care has went into how its displayed. Not being a negative troll or anything just constructive criticism. Keep up the great work with the channel.

Love the videos, great info. But you need to get those Prime Elevations mounted high on the wall or ceiling, will be a game changer for Atmos over using them as"bouncy house" speakers. That is what their made for. Anyway love the channel AWESOME collection!

Vibration not do the circuits much good, got a svs sb3000, so I know these babies pack a serious punch! Also as good as the xbox is for 4k, you really ought to look at a dedicated 4k player, you would be surprised at the improvements! Panasonic Dp-Ub820.. Is a stunning player at a reasonable price 😊👍

Do you have a region free bluray player? I absolutely love the room and your setup. I too have a small room for a movie room. Luckily I have mine set up in such a way that it does the job for my collection. I have about 1,300 blurays and DVD's in my collection. I have not gotten into 4k yet, but may eventually in the future. I have a bunch of Shout/Scream Factory titles. I am going to be buying a bunch of movie posters to finish off my movie room pretty soon and will post a room tour video after I get it all situated. I hope you get to watch it when I post it. Can't imagine my hobby without 3D, thanks to Jim Cameron 2 (my brother hahaha) i can enjoying also all old real 3D film classics movies from the 50s (BLUE LAGOON) to the 80s (JAWS 3-D) too wich are still keep coming over there in united states from KINO LORBER and other brands and believe me brother after AVATAR 2 after cinemas release 3D comeback and will return to homecinema maybe without 3D glasses we will see.
