Popping in late just to say, you are aware the XF was a thing in the game already, right? If I'm not mistaken the XF is the CCX and the XXR is the Agera R. Both simply stunning cars, so yeah, it is a shame the new additions don't hold their own.

The Vagner is God tier, but they *Really* messed up on the XXR. Could've at least made made it a a bit slower than the banshee and have the downforce of the nerfed 787b (I forgot the name). I thought it would be more like the Agera R not a CC8

Matthew Gorres It's not bugged. The Pariah gets its speed from a much higher level of engine upgrade compared to everything else. It's a 400% full upgrade compared to the usual 100%.

Curb boosting is a big part of what makes racing in this game fun. Especially Stunt races would be absolutely horrible without it. The cars are already too slow as it is, and making them even slower is a terrible idea.

All video comparisons at 9:15. Every part of the video is important to get an understanding of what's going on, but make sure you stay until 9:15 to see the things I'm talking about for yourself. Also the Hotring Sabre is one of the few from this update (including drip feed cars) that still benefits from kerb-boosting. It doesn't have all of the flags the others do.

Do you think that in the same way that they are adding these attributes to new cars to test for new formula to make driving more realistic in the next series. That they are intentionally using bugs to make cars faster to test for a bigger map? Because that indicates the new map would warrant higher speeds due to its size. That could also be why we are seeing cars break what used to be a hard coded speed barrier that they have to intentionally use bugs like "Tires can Clip" to get higher speeds due to game engine limitations. Maybe that's why they are adding guns to Sports Classics ect to test more in depth car customization. Or maybe it would it be a case of "Yes military vehicles have guns and players like them but they are slow and meant for off road so why not give them the option of fast cars with guns".

I would like to say, I understand that not all expensive cars need to be fast, but they shouldn't be utter dogshit either. In addition, the original Entity is faster, you said that during your testing video, or at some point, anyway. That shouldn't be the case. I'm not asking for the XXR to blow the Vagner out of the water, I'm asking for it to be better than it is.

At a glance a lot of people would think that what ever car in the thumbnail is the new fastest and would want to check it out, imo he needs to change how he titles those

The new "physics" should be applied for all other cars. Honestly.. I hate things like "Kerb boosting", using offroad tires to go faster R* should remove it ASAP. But they should add some more speed aswell because cars (especially supercars) are really slow in GTA already.

"Fucked-Finding" is back! In all honesty, this makes so much more sense. Obviously you wouldn't drive your car stupidly fast on a piece of road where there's potholes, uneven asphalt, etc. All these updates could indeed have been nothing but a clever guise to experiment with different sorts of mechanics.. And I wouldn't really mind these new vehicle coding if it were to be applied to all the vehicles, but that may very well be the case in the newer installment of the game should there be another. It sucks that one of my all time favorite vehicles was part of this particular test group and can't be competitive, but I actually kinda like how these new cars perform. I hated the fact that going over a curb at high speeds was not only fine, but encouraged in this game. I know it's done so that people wouldn't constantly crash and damage their cars, but going over objects clearly higher than their bumpers should have been made less beneficial. R* isn't known for overly realistic physics, but they somewhat try to model real world situations, and having a supercar hop over a curb and benefit from it always struck me as odd. So it's nice to see curb boosting toned down for these cars, but their top speeds are a sin, especially given what the Taipan and XXR are modeled after.

If they're gonna test new mechanics under the guise of an update, they could at least not do it with expensive as fuck cars that are modelled after some of the quickest and fastest cars in the world. Ffs Koenigsegg Agera R in real life is literally the fastest production vehicle and rockstar managed to turn it into an in-game rust bucket.

For me, it's either all cars kerb boost, or none do. I like kerb boosting myself because it weeds out the players who don't actually care about racing in stunt races, for example. It's not a big issue tho, just a preference.

Great video. I have to say that your videos have helped me a great deal. Especially with the hierarchy of my garage. That highlight of the difference between city and highway is really helpful. I know the Albany cars are slow but I am from TX and in H-town slabs are a thing so in Los Santos you might catch me ridin in one escaping the LSPD lol

Removing curb boosting is good because it makes racing lines more important that how many curbs you can hit. It does seem to me like they fully understand that cars are the reason for most shark card sales and that racing within GTA is bigger than it being a military style game.

I never knew about the curb boosting thing in GTA V, and I always assumed when I was driving in the city it felt faster because there are more points of reference flying by than out in the country (Especially since there is no official in game speedometer outside of lobby speed trials). I also forgot how much grip the Vagner has, as I've been driving around the Tzeract getting my monies worth and noticing its horrendous lack of grip.

Beignets we reunined it period had a guy do codes fot it that knew nothing about cars. Youll see its options in custimaztion are shit and was rushed. I tryed getting involved with the supra. But was on the development for elli and ken aka drif ford. Prob gonna get written up for thus rant. This dlc had such good potential but rs wanted us to add these new car scripts and make cars terrible in my eyes. Not a bug and will not be fixed sorry to say

The Supra has already been ruined: - Wrong manufacturer (Dinka instead of Karin) - Wrong name (Jester Classic instead of anything else) - Wrong class (Sports Classics instead or Sports) - No liveries - Compared to other cars in the update like the Issi Classic and the Cheburek, it looks poorly modeled

I think it is because the fact that the Entity XXR is mostly based on the Koenigsegg Agera series, ppl expect it to have top tier performance. I did too when I first saw it but it's R* logic, game version =/= real life unfortunately. The Taipan on the otherhand is just a weird supercar.

I there anyway you could test the entity xxr with the flags set to normal? We know it wouldn't be top tier but I'm interested where it could end up. Would it still be slower than the OG entity?

It would likely be quicker, or around the same area as OG entity. It may be possible to test it in future.

If you watched the whole video you would have seen that the Entity XXR is actually faster than the X-80 Proto that he compared it to on highways and stunt track. It is only slower in the city.

Stopped playing GTA Online a while back cause of the "cashgrabbing and forced PVP" but still watch your videos and catch your stream whenever I can Broughy cause of the high quality :) GTA Online could have been "THE GAME" if only... But hey, you finally beat Subaru in a race! :P

I’ve seen a lot of curb-boosting on the new hotring circuits...and it appears to be at least moderately effective. I do not think the new hotring saber has this flag turned on

Is the Hotring affected too? I've been doing those races and I see guys kerb boost and they pull away, even though custom cars are off and so is catchup and slipstream. They start hitting those bumps and give out a big fat "See ya!" lol

at around 4:30 ur right about the rev thing in the new cars, when ever i took a corner i would go first person and itll sit at high rpm for 3-5 seconds

I think there is still a chance that it can go back to normal. If you remember when the Lowriders DLC came out they removed mid drive speed boost from all cars. Then Rockstar saw that the community didn't like it so they changed it back to normal.

Would be nice to see cars go faster in the next GTA while also having this new mechanic in the game that slows them down when hitting a curb. If people want realistic handling, then this is it.

Either way broughy, I do believe this engine restriction needs to be taken off and also keep the bumps neutral where they don’t make you faster or slower or make the bumps work the same way like it’s been since release. If they were ever going to make adjustments as big as this they should have done it years ago, not after we have played the game the way it’s been since the games release. It’s just upsetting because were are used to it and all of a sudden they want to change it now. And with it Being with only the new cars and not the old ones it’s unfair for all of us since people like me who race a lot the cars are slower for us, then old ones are faster. Then these new people buy these new cars and will notice they get blown by a car from early in the game. It’s just very irrelevant to add this adjustment to the game now in all honesty.

You get less horsepower for the money with the XXR than just buying an XF which has been in the game forever and is still a decent supercar and is actually quite cheap for a supercar.
