ty, as always, for presenting different cognitive functions and how they show up in the world. even if we share those functions but in different order, it's a world of difference with how we might get from "A" to "B" and why we employ a certain communication style over another. for example, i absolutely wouldn't use his delivery and communication style unless there is a state of extreme emergency like someone literally lost a limb and ppl need to coordinate to get the person help asap. anything that's not quite as time-sensitive or extreme could benefit from a different approach (in my personal thinking). however, as you highlighted, the Te style is really outwardly about helping others and so it is, in fact, intended to be of value outside of the self. this provides so much more context to understanding the concept of "good intent" and what does it actually look like in different forms. for example, if i didn't know the "good intent" behind lead masculine Te, i might assume that this person is verbally bullying others' with weaker mental fortitude and poor personal finance into bending to his advice and therefore making him a lot of money from views, sponsors, products, etc. i don't know him or that he is profiting in that way, but that's just how it could appear to some ppl. but if we include the lesson on lead masculine Te, then it paints a very different picture of who he is. he may still be profiteering off of others but guided by the sincerity to help ppl get their finances in order. fascinating

As an ESFJ working with two ESTJ coworkers in a classroom, I hear this kind of talk and energy all the time. You should see and hear us before a class begins. You can bet we have a tight schedule, the students know where to put things and what to do next. We run a "tight ship" classroom lol When it comes to dealing with people though, I'm the one consoling the students, while the other two are finding strategies to keep the students behaved! When I get into a disagreement with my ESTJ coworkers, I just tell them like it is and they get it without any offense. When they do it to me on the other hand...

Poor ENTJ, it's bad enough when they are being rude but right. But sometimes they're wrong, because nobody can be right all the time even if it's ENTJ. They are wrong but they think they are right and enforce their mistakes on others AND don't consider the feeling of anyone because feeling is not important. Thus everybody hates them. That's why they are the stereotypical Villian, an evil overlord trying to accomplish a wrong goal no matter the cost. They say ENTJ are usually super intelligent and are one of the rarest type, I think it's because the ENTJs that are not intelligent are simply eliminated by natural selection, because it's such a risky type to have.

INTP. His strong Te doesn’t really bother me (other than black and white thinking). It’s that he will tell people to make money delivering pizzas when he was scamming people with insurance/real estate or something. Now he sells people over priced money saving kits. So yeah, he has money. He’s winning. He probably knows something about the topic. He’s just never going to tell people the real way he did it. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t minimum wage or delivering pizza. Edit: my dad is super into Ramsey and I lost a ton of respect for him because he keeps throwing money at him while Ramsey is living in a mansion telling people God made him rich or something

When Dave said (about DO's): "Theyll get into some 'conspiracy' thing and be like: 'this isn't even a conspiracy who fkn cares!?,'" which types are the DO's who would do say exactly that (asking for a friend lol). 2. Dave & Shan often make comments like: "How do you know if you're dealing with a lead Te? Do you have a bruise on your forehead?" (LOL can confirm btw...) So which type is like that... But you'd check for a bruise on your chest?

This guy's Te makes no sense to me. Like of course you need to get shit done and it's not gonna work out if every time you say you're tired or you don't wanna, duh. That's a choice you have to weigh and obviously it's a trade-off. You gotta contribute to a degree.. but you also have to take care of yourself so you CAN get things done. Like you need enough sleep or you won't be as productive as sleep deprivation has similar effects to intoxication, and ignore your Di enough and it builds resentment. I've seen Fes let alone Tes get real scary when the last straw breaks their martyr syndrome. Also as an atheist, I get one life. There's no heaven waiting for me in which I get to enjoy all the things I resisted on earth; this is all I get however I choose to spend it. Thus balance makes the most sense to me; sometimes it's best to take care of my needs and wants first, sometimes it's best to push through to the other side.

Just ignore the Te user. His talking out of his ass. All blasters talk out of their ass and don't think very deeply before they say something.
@kernel74282 жыл бұрын
Agree! Although it might be harmful for health, I used to consume energy drinks (to get it done). I don’t know why, but when people are constantly doing as many assignments as they can, without a break for checking where is that going… it seems like an ant in labyrinth, which goes forward without a thought until it faces the wall, and then, it turns somewhere else. It’s like bruteforce with options.
@abbyanderbard2 жыл бұрын
True. But that's where he's unbalanced as his type, as we all have our own imbalance somewhere. It's not a good one, sadly, waiting to take care of yourself until after your bucket is completely empty. But it's hard to see your imbalance in your own type. And think how awful to have that mocking voice used against yourself on the inside all the time, like he said, "SORRY. We ALL have to work." And he calls people babies and irresponsible. That is what you end up saying to yourself ALL the TIME in your head as an EXXJ. Like, you bully yourself constantly to be your best for other people. So you wait until you're completely spent to take care of yourself.

No. He's created his own system. That's entj. Only if he was espousing or endorsing someone else's system would he then be Si. NI is "my way, the way I've done worked so it will work for you. By the way my way was different than the rest. So that is why you will get different results"is essentially Ni and what Dave's rant embodied. Ni way paves a way for itself and if it produced gold, it wants to teach others with Te as the person gets older/finds more purpose. Hence the Dave Ramsey university and Dave Ramsey process thing with his 7 steps.

That dude is NTP. What NTPs do, is that they do something dumb (like everybody else) and then instead of doing Se (listening to other people do the same dumb thing) and Ni (avoiding what all of them did by doing something else), they do Si - complain about it. Until they meet NTJ. And then gives them advice. To which they have bunch of other Si complaints. So they tell them to stop whining. And then, instead of doing what he was told, he goes to tribe, says the same thing NTJ person told them and watches their reaction (Fe). And if it is positive, then he does what he was telling other people to do. There are pauses in his speech where we can figure out, what his (NTP) response was in original NTJ - NTP conversation. SFJs do something similar with SFPs. STJs and NFPs do the same Ne thing with STPs and NFJs, but they go actually do the thing instead of lecturing people first. Te learn by trial and error on objects. Fe learn by trial and error on people's emotions.

I just remember actually feeling embarrassed hearing/ watching him. No joke, it was so uncomfortable. Maybe that’s why my father volunteered to be a coach. I had no idea who this guy (Dave Ramsey) was until my college years. No joke, I sold my car on Craigslist’s early college years and this lady paid me in cash via envelope. THEN I filled in the dots years later after meeting my wife (that’s adopted from ‘christian parents’ and yea blah. TLDR the guy is bonkers
