Now there has to be a panel on how ISFPs are more ruthless and power-hungry than any ever suspected.

The whole part about potential and wanting to help people is 100% me! Honestly, that's what drives me and motivates me in what I do. This panel did a great job of properly portraying who ENTJs are instead of the stereotypes that are portrayed! Fellow ENTJ

OMG, this was such an inspiring panel. Like I said, how you managed to find these wonderful ENTJ'S to give their valuable time is incredible! I love how ENTJ'S are all about finding potential in people and concepts, while taking up the challenge of bringing these projects to life. It's so nice to hear and break these ENTJ stereotypes that are being scattered all over the internet. John is someone I'd see myself hanging out with or go to for advice! These panels are wonderful Joyce, you're the only person I know who can successfully bring amazing people together to inform the world and to inspire others. Bravo! 👏👏👏

That amnesia over accomplishment history can also show up in INTJ who have Si as 8th function. At least for me that problem has shown up. -INTj

Great panel! I really liked hearing everyone’s responses and it was interesting seeing the different flavors of ENTJ! 😊 Also really great tips on looking back at milestones you’ve accomplished in the past few months or year. That’s a good habit to get into. 👍

I find it fascinating how ENTJ seem to be on a spectrum of balancing greed and generosity. At their heart they’re always seeking a sense of purpose that drives them via Fi inferior sensitivities. At their best, they can give you everything including the shirt off their backs, it is unfortunate that the negative stereotype is what most people associate but I think it’s because it’s so memorable when people encounter it precisely because ENTJ can be very impactful. For example, I know an ENTJ in a leadership position who has low emotional intelligence. He really wants to be seen as generous but his loyalty insecurities often makes things feel like “Mandatory Fun”, especially when he’s taking attendance and clearly noting who’s participating and who’s not. Please ENTJ, be cognizant of the difference between garnering fear and respect.

Interesting insight, but you must understand this, some people need to be afraid. They are on the dark triad personality disorders. If they don't know someone had them figured out, they will pull some shit, believe that.

@@dirkslifeadvice5339 Everyone has a capacity for good and evil regardless of type. How each type expresses bad behavior may differ but so too are examples at their best behavior. I don’t think it’s fair to label an entire type as “Dark Triad” even if you can find examples of Machiavellian ENTJs. Each type have temptations, weaknesses and pitfalls. Look for the good ones, they do exist. They are selflessly driving to improve the world we live in and make it a better place, despite the personal costs. They are “fighting on the front lines” both figuratively and literally for a purpose they deeply believe in. Our world would likely be much poorer with more suffering without them.

ENTJs being upset about the CEO stereotype but go on to list the ENTJ characteristics that are that of a great CEO lol. Also, I think this solidifies what type my dad is, especially the trying to bring out someone's potential

I never knew there were actually 4 subtypes of the personalities. Suddenly things make more sense. Certainly crushing “stereotypes”. Also makes it harder to type someone 😊

Great interview. I was thinking for so a long time I was intj but when you really pay attention how Te you are as a unconscious dominant function you see where it can get confusing with thinking you're introverted being serious or someone being pretty direct

I do notice, that ENTJs have a CEO mentality with their own lives. Like Joyce said, a goal in mind, you could call it a vision as well. Also, the commander aspect comes into it because they want to be in charge of things happening around them. But what I don’t always see is this drive to make a difference in the wider world, or command an organization however big or small. Following Linda Berens, I see the in-charge type most in ENTJs, commanding every aspect of their lives rather than necessarily wanting to be impactful as a person in the wider scope.

@@Mztbtc MBTI is a great tool for deepening self awareness and the ability to understand people, however without awareness comes mistyping… and how can you coach people without self awareness??? It just goes against being a coach and shows lack of credibility.
@johnmorrone
@johnmorrone Жыл бұрын
I couldn’t disagree more about loss of credibility. Having knowledge of functions and how they show up in people and being able to observe those things in others/ourselves are two VERY different things. What I’m gathering from this comment is that someone needs to understand every aspect of their own personality before they can coach others. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like if that were the case we would not have any personality coaches…like at all. I think the willingness to accept change as it comes and as it reveals itself shows a great deal of open mindedness and willingness to accept that one’s own opinions and understandings occasionally need to be reevaluated - a mindset that any person doing self-work would find helpful. This includes coaches and their clients alike.
@annap-g2184
@annap-g2184 Жыл бұрын
@@johnmorrone It's not different at all. "Make the unconscious conscious" for yourself before trying to do that for others. If people are unconscious about themselves, obviously they did not do the work on themselves first. Why this shortcut?? Yes, there should be way less "personality coaches". Seems like everyone wants to be a coach nowadays, I get it there is money to be made in the field since so many people feel lost. Now, can you still help others by being unconscious about yourself? Probably, to a certain degree.
