"Born in the wrong body" is very cissexist and reductive to trans experiences. Most of us feel like our bodies are ours and not wrong. The gender assigned to them is or maybe the hormones are but our bodies are ours. Most trans people do not use this language and find it uncomfortable at best and offensive at worst. Please try reframing to something less cis-centric. Cis isn't "correct" and transition isn't "correcting" trans into cis.

If they feel that strongly they probably won't. My mother in law doesn't want to be around it. She has a relationship with her son but not the boyfriends and never goes over their house and acts like he isn't gay. So no they don't feel like they are missing out. My husband does talk to his brother and the boyfriend but he doesn't agree but he doesn't miss treat them.
