I think in the real world they would stop the appointment and reschedule. The consultants have other bookings and a schedule to keep. Plus at four hours you're tired and hungry and won't find anything. And it's only the first one. But most of the appointments when they film take a few hours and they try on a lot of dresses but only air a few. SO they would have padded it out even more and used it as a plot device for the show

All these comments praising the bride for considering the mom's budget seem to overlook how COMPLETELY inconsiderate she is of everyone's time. Those dresses are heavy. @kristinbagani28113 жыл бұрын
Agreed. However, keep in mind that all of their appointments have been booked ahead of time. And don’t the consultants have a cut-off time to have appointments? If they don’t, then I hate to say that the consultants had this coming. Because the client (especially one who hasn’t gone dress shopping before) doesn’t know better. And the consultants know that dress shopping can take hours at times. I think what the consultants should’ve done is either book her at an earlier time so that this doesn’t happen, or Flo could’ve just told her upfront that they’re close to closing time and try to work out a plan from there. Also, something tells me that the producers kept this appointment at the designated time on purpose to create drama for the show.

I love it how on so many episodes of this show the shop stylists act all shocked when the woman says she's tried on 50 dresses or gone to 50 shops. Like, of course she has! Like, people ain't going to spend 2 grand on the third thing they pick out! Finding a flattering fit, in a style that one likes can take scouring a city's stores for a year! I've been shopping 12 years for the perfect pair of jeans and still haven't found it. Lol.

On one of the earlier dresses she said, "I love the little bit of sparkle." They should have let her see the plainer dresses with a sparkly belt.

7:40 you can see the smeared Mascara. She was crying. going on her interview I bet it was her feeling pressured and guilty for needing so much time. I think she was low key manipulated by the crew to make for better TV. She was already indecisive and not super strong willed (I mean she nearly 180 on the first dress because of what her entourage said) It wouldn't have been hard to convince her to keep going and run the clock. Especially if they didn't say they were closing to her.

Yep. I don’t know one store that wouldn’t just close anyway and kick her out. Unless she was a psycho bride who controlled everyone around her, it seems unlikely for her to not only control when the consultants go home, but also when the production company and camera crew pack up and go home, since we can assume they would do that at a similar time to the consultants. Somebody would have just told her, “no”. She isn’t an evil overload. This was clearly a production decision for better TV.

I think dress #6 was THE DRESS. It was beautiful, everybody was loving her in it, it was lightweight and comfortable enough for her beach wedding....the dress was WELL within her budget. It was checking off every single criteria she had. I just think she was scared to commit. Honestly, Flo and Lori have the patience of a SAINT. This bride kept them in the store THREE HOURS past closing time. If I was Lori, I would have told this bride and her Mom "Look...this doesn't seem to be working for ya'll today. Maybe go home and think about it....do some research on what you like and we can make another time for you to come back and try again. Honestly, for that last dress, I think Flo and the bride's family would have said "YES, THIS IS THE ONE" if the dress had been $10,000 and a gunnysack. JUST so they could go home. lol

When it is 3 hours after closing. That is not indecisiveness. That is being rude and inconsiderate of other people. Her family probably had plans after they helped her find a dress. And Flo and Robin probably did too.

When I got married I was 22. I w 9:51 as a bridesmaid for my sister in law. I went along for one of her fittings. I was engaged to her Brother at the time. I just started looking at the dresses. A saleswoman came and said would like to try something on. I put it on and fell in love that was the only dress I ever tried on! I still love that dress! I am always amazed at all these Brides trying on all these dresses. I had nothing in mind. Aline was something I always looked for in every dress. However I ended up with Aline ball gown organza. It was great. I was by myself. I put money on it. Brought my Mother to show her. I do not know how much she liked it. She said she did. She helped me pick out the veil.

She needs to just rent a dress and be done with it. Most of us dont wear ball gowns or fish tail dresses often so I could see a bride not being for sure about the 'look', but when you are afraid to commit to a dress because you really dont know what you want just go and rent a $150 dress and be done with it.
