Inigo Montoya aka Mandy Patinkin is a great example of the happiness curve.
He's old enough to see that side of himself. He's old enough to get some progress on it. But hey, give the guy a break. He's like, yeah, I know, I'm still working on, you know, Triple Demon Masculine Fe, right? So, the point is, really looking at people that you admire, or you find positive things about them, and you really gotta pull from the math of like, look, look how hard some of this stuff is for him, and look how far he's gotten, and you gotta be grading yourself according to that same standard.
(Oh and we also go over his type or whatever. But I'm not going to tell you here because we need better view retention so go watch to find out the sensor. - Lexi 😃)

This is a lovely example of NE. The interviewer is trying get Mandy Patinkin into a negative conversation with "You have a reputation as a difficult actor""Was it deserved?". Mandy's NE sees this and deftly and very briefly acknowledges it vaguely (so she can't come back and say it wasn't answered!) and then goes into an NE ramble to cover his tracks. NE is probably one of the most positive functions because it's trying always trying to see a better possibility. Because NE is always trying to see a greater/deeper/better possibility it has a strong positive emotional bias. NE can look into the abyss and be better for it. For instance Mandt Patinkin's NE sees the possibility of creating a deep authentic conversation about his personal growth through the trauma of his relationship with his father with a woman who is intent on trying to make him look like an asshole so she can get more clicks on her videos.

For me, having demon NE, i get dragged down a lot by negative “what ifs”. So i guess it depends on where it is in your stack for you to have a positive or negative view on it.

​@@nataliefluckiger6568It might be that you only listen to your NE when it predicts disaster (and it has a protective function too of seeing possible negative futures) - I would try and ask it to create positive possibilities and listen to it.. I would try following your NE a bit when it doesn't seem too crazy and see if you are more happy when you are actually following it. NE is a bit anxiety prone naturally because of seeing lots of possibilities - just give a little attention to an anxiety and then let go is the way. You don't want to get stuck in an NE idea unless the other functions confirm its important. With NE as the first function you need the other functions (Ti in my case) to act as a part of you that say's that this is a dumb idea. For me I'm NE savior(1st function) and I have to stop myself ignoring SI and not wanting to do the SI things(even though not wanting to use SI creates anxiety).. When I'm using SI to do paperwork or tidying I am actually very happy.

@@RealnessEternal idk how to ask my NE to create positive possibilities, but i know that i definitely could use some more positivity in my life! Haha! I’ve been working on pushing out intrusive thoughts and trying to move forward. Interesting perspective! Thanks for the suggestions!

It would be very neat to see a discussion of celebrities who died young and perhaps looking at where they probably were in their overall arc of self development and at which point they may have gotten over the wall to a better place if they had just held on a bit longer. In some cases for men, it might all just be about the time when their testosterone starts to lower, but I’m sure there are elements of self development that are not just chemical or chrono age.

Would love a discussion of exactly WHERE certain ‘young death’ celebs were in their arc when they died. And perhaps where they may have needed to get to in order to jump over to the other side. (perhaps in some cases for men it is simply at the time when their testosterone lowers a bit, but there may be more self developedand self growth than just that). Such as John Belushi, etc.
