As a Di myself (INTP) the cabin in the woods is our natural state of mind, lol. That’s where we start. Did an isolation trip to the Oregon coast funny enough staying 3 days in a cabin in Yachats. My partner was all for it lol.

I feel bad for ExxJ’s. As an IxxP it really sucks when your deciders flip on you. Now I’m an IxxP, so I can just escape the tribe to prevent that (because of my animals) , but ExxJ’s really really get hit first. It’s sad that they can do FUCKING everything I want to do, but I can’t, yet I know myself and my pride and they dont. Also ExxJ’s with Fi are weirdly attractive.

That's the phase my ENTJ daughter in law currently is in. She keeps saying she needs some alone time, wants to reconnect with herself. At the same time she can't help but getting involved with the tribe. Goddamit get some time for yourself, be selfish for once lol , thats what I tell her haha

That's why IPs / Dis are much better suited for marriage and being around people, and Des are better off taking some distance, especially from very close relationships. Dis have learned how to fulfill their own needs since a young age, so as they grow, they can successfully coexist with others - sort of, the "put your own oxygen mask before helping the person next to you" kind of thing. Des on the other hand (I'm one of them) because they spend at least half of their lives pleasing others, they need to move away and get familiar with their inner self in later life.

​@DeclanCoury They are certainly very attracted to each other. I've always been attracted, as a guy, to mopey self centered introverted girls. The outgoing, talkative ones have always sort of repelled me. It's just another way for me to confirm my De extraverted nature, I guess. The self centered Di finds the De's altruism beautiful and is feeling like the De is their biggest fan. The De on the other hand loves finding out about the Di's inner world and helping the Di with their interests by giving time, care, attention. I would say this though: a De needs to learn to detach from the people pleasing tendencies because Dis tend to enjoy "taking" what the De gives, without giving much back. It can be endearing and fulfilling at first, when you meet someone who's your opposite, but the balance can be lost quite fast if you're not paying attention. I think what we are attracted to, is the version of us that we should work on. In other words, it's a bit as if, we are attracted to our idealized image.

@@Myure I think it's something like openness to new information. They use "chaos" to describe it but the more socially acceptable term might be "freedom." Basically IJs get stuck in either a sensory or intuitive rut and don't deal well with new stuff. So they have to get out of their boxes.
