I have Fe on the bottom, and I would absolutely never try to get someone to do what I thought was fun for everyone, because I would never subconsciously take responsibility for it lol. I think that high Ti users naturally prioritize the individual over the group, so if you don’t want to come for ice cream, I’d feel sad, but I’m not gona manipulate you to come lol you do you.

Think I'm starting to get the Fi-Fe thing now. I can be labeled as heartless from some of my family. Two of them I think have Fe and while they say it in a jokingly casual way, it's like hey they probably actually mean it. And when it comes to weird specific things that I care about, all of the emotion comes out towards this one thing. I feel like this is how everybody is but apparently not. Just to share a personal example, when our dog got sick, I took her to the vet to be put down because I thought 'well logically it's her time and she's sick and suffering so this is the best course of action obviously.' And I guess my Fe family members wanted to make it a big deal. Take pictures and being together when it happened but that didn't cross my mind. I just saw a problem that needed attention and couldn't wait for the Fe people to come and be a part of. And it's like, I cried when it happened. I just kept it to myself. And I got called heartless and dog killer for it, in a joking way but hey all jokes have truth to it. It's obvious that we all should've been together when putting down our dog, a legit family member. But I saw it in a completely different way. Freakin Fe man

What many people with Fe don't understand is that it is much more important to have true authentic emotions than to show social "appropriate" emotions according to each situation in life. That's why they tend to be so fake and concerned with status and reputation. Of course, not all Fe carriers are like this, but it is important to deconstruct their super empathetic and friendly stereotype. Many of them are true hypocrites who spend their lives hiding their flaws and selfish, controlling desires from the tribe while accusing others of being insensitive for not participating in their little acting stupid game.

"In a joking way" ... was Fe trying to be pokite, not trying to make you feel bad, while you delivered to them ... an emotional gut-punch. That is Fe, still trying to take your feelings into account, even theirs had been shredded. Also, sorry for your loss. 😢🐾

Well, technically not all jokes have truth to them. With 1 joke without truth, the statement becomes false. And yes, that is very Ti thing to say :p

Ti's Fe is just looking at what the Te's Fi values. They information makes it easier to know what the boundaries are for interacting with you. They are looking for your Fi values. If you react seriously or negatively, we know not to touch that subject again f.e.. So yes the Ti needs that information, that's why they keep on Fe 'poking' at you.
@nikitimmermans3 ай бұрын
They miss that the other person doesn't want to do that if the Fi doesn't Te express their values. If Fe doesn't want to do something, they'll expressively let it know. So if an Fi doesn't make a clear statement they'll interpret is as they are not sure. Ti just needs/wants information about what other people value to relate to someone.

Fe sometimes jokes about situations to point out the elephant in the room and establish that we all okay with it. Yes I commented on something about you Fi, I thought that particular behavior you did was weird, but Im only saying this because if we joke and laugh about it openly this is a way of saying yeah I am okay with that behavior but other people might find it weird so be careful. Fi tend to get this as a direct assult for their existence and get so defensive about it and sometimes insult back ten times harsher (which creates and ice cold conversation instantly). So I would like to say sorry to all the Fi s I make mad its not very intentional and still i dont think that it wasnt a big deal but i am starting to get your point of view now

When she says “you make me laugh now you are quitting” its not actually that she is mad that she is quitting. She is just saying “you are very funny i would like to get more of that”. She obviously knows this isnt about her thats why i found it very funny actually.

This is my retelling: Shan will switch to ST or Te as a defence mechanism... and the ST is kinda solid like rock - it's a single move, plain, blunt, clear ..... and the mobile Fe just sweeps across with "Paper, paper, paper" every time the ST is played.... the dilemma being that for Shan to produce a new move (Scissors) is too painful and personal as it involves Fi exposure

What's weird to me is they see that as "shame" when it could just be Fe expressing feelings. Talk before you think kind of a thing. She might just be disappointed/frustrated & she's vocalizing that. That's a much simpler explanation than the idea that she planned to manipulate his emotions, and if that's the case - then damn she's smooth asf.
@user-dh8xv2zt1z3 ай бұрын
Exactly. . . Seems non- "Fe" users came up with and continue to propagate "manipulate" ... when, if you actually consider that we are tribe/self ... why would we be doing shady underhandings for self? We save that when you aren't doing what is best for TRIBE, and need to be...shown the way...😉

Yep the Fe is always looking at the Fi and the Te is always looking at the Ti to a certain extent It’s kind of their job as De functions, the Fe is trying to play to all the little Fi’s and I guess the Te is doing the same for the Ti’s. I think you can see that in how Dave and Shan talk about these functions. Both having Te and Fi, they’ve been talking about Ti since the very beginning and talk about it a lot, they seem very comfortable talking about Ti. Because it’s “below” their Te function so they can see it without a problem. By contrast Fe seems to have always been more of a mystery to them, they talk about it less and are a little more weirded out by it. I think I (savior Ti) am the same way in the other direction. I can easily see what Fi is, even if I don’t have it, I can explain what it is pretty easily. Te by contrast, even though I spend time with a lot of Te people for some reason I can’t really wrap my head around what exactly it is sometimes or what it’s doing. Despite being a savior Thinker and Fi technically being lower on my stack (8th function rather than 5th function Te), there’s just something about Te that I feel like I don’t really get what exactly it is.

@ethanpintar5454 Te is polling the public, environment people around you for best way to do things. At least Te-Se combo is. Te essentially feels responsible for knowledge that everyone has the right knowledge. That everyone is up to speed on applicable knowledge, the same way Fe feels responsible for the vibe in the room The way Dave and Shan gave the example shows this. Ti uses outdated screw. From Te perspective he doesn't have the knowledge on the updated screw he should be using. Te feels pressure to update him. To bring the Ti into the fold on Te knowledge of the group. Is why the Ti can get mad over that. Just like Fi can get mad at Fe for bringing them into the fold on an a vibe.
@ethanpintar54544 ай бұрын
@@grazynawolska8160 Yeah like in principle I get what the definition of Te is of course, I’ve been following OP for a while. It just somehow doesn’t “click” or make sense to me in a way. Like, would you Te “believe” something that you don’t Ti believe is true?
@grazynawolska81604 ай бұрын
@ethanpintar5454 you're going to gasp in horror. But, Te does not Ti check. I get that Ti users poke and prod every idea and see if it passes their testing to see if it's admissible into their Ti framework. Te does not do that. Te just scans the environment for knowledge. What do people know, what should they know. We don't really Ti investigate things and we don't take personal ownership of the knowledge like Ti people do. It's like intellectual vibes, they out there, we just pick up and send out the signal like Fe does with emotional vibes. We still capable of Ti, we just don't or not as deep as Ti user because we'd rather Te.

One of your f Fe's here from NZ - I guess one way I might see this is ..... f De sees the tribe as a whole as moveable .... so reservations, 'likes and dislikes', hesitations, bad moods, shyness, reticence, refusals, tiredness are all partially made of jelly ... like, why would you want to stay in bad F if there's good F we can help each other get to? Why would you want to cling to the concept of 'no surprise parties' if you haven't actually SF Play sampled enough of them to know that they can't all be bad? ... There has to be one type of surprise party that moves, affirms, enlivens, uplifts and creates joy. No one can be so utterly wedded to morose (and silly sounding) principles. To me is sounds like "I love my hatred of surprise parties more than I love you" .... that is so 'Fi' gross, lol. Move!

At least Fe is liked by people because we find common interests and create connections, while Fi is stuck being disliked even when they are being authentic haha Fi users are just jealous that no one likes them and they are social pariahs who refuse to fit in with the group. I hope you know humans are very social creatures, and conforming to the group is nice once and awhile, im not saying overdue it, but at least try and see Fe's perspective instead of bad mouthing showing your Te and Fi EGO bias. Te users are insufferable, the only good thing about them is they help people fake confidence enough to start and finish a project due to them prioritizing action and efficiency. They are just master controllers who freak out if a plan is changed and are not adaptable like Fe is. Compassionate Fe leadership will always beat micromanaging Te users.
