@@RoJoproductions123 i think it depends on the product. if they almost already know someone has something that's protected and will sell really really well it might not hurt that much to ignore earnings because the investor still has a huge chance to make a profit. and i also think they tend to chew someone out more of they offer anything below 5% because that's a low equity. Selling food or a commonly known item is a huge risk because the market us but but also pretty saturated, most people know where to get a birdfeeder already or already own one even. I also think they go over finances after the show as well just to double check things are correct but it doesn't hurt to tell someone that you're asking money from that you have a good chance of paying them back- and of course the dragons play it up slightly for TV. I think they tend to ask more questions when someone doesn't seem to know their numbers then those that blow through their numbers and nothing seems off. SO either way he should have prepared for the worst but i also have a little bit of sympathy because he's dealing with TV here.

This is where they film themselves inanely smiling, nodding and generally pretending to listen, so they can intersperse the footage into the interview to make it look like the journo actually gave two sh*ts (or because there's only one camera).
