For the Newbie if you are actually trading in the crypto space and you don't have a sound mentor. Then you are certainly going to get liquidated in 90% of your trades. Yeah that's sad truth. I remember when i just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 i ended up selling it because i have lost alot trading all by myself without a guide. The first part you're correct, but the later not so much. At the end of the day, if a depression hits, nobody will want BTC for ANYTHING! But will need a Gov't backed currency for exchanging commodities and services. And if nobody trusts the US dollar, which might happen, then we (US) will move to a more stable and valid form of money (AU), not some crypto currency.

Bitcoin is just a store of value. There are other coins with way better use cases. Just like stocks, each has a different function. Just do your own research, don't just listen to maxis. They can afford to buy a very expensive coin because they have the money.

BTC has very little store of value, I'd say almost none. It has a price, but very little value. Value comes from how much people need something and can what it can be used for. In the case of BTC nobody needs it and there are plenty of alternatives for moving assets and money that are faster and cheaper than BTC.
