Pushed a wheelchair stroke victim for the first time in my life. Couldn't believe how hopeless the wheel chair was outside on a flat pavement. Very difficult to manoeuvre, very heavy, felt unstable, and the person pushing needs to be strong. The idea of allowing a disabled person more freedom is genius.

This presenter was well educated and had one of the best overall presentations I've seen on any DD or ST show. The product's unique selling point is an all terrain vehicle, specifically designed for disabled users. ''Deep mud, snow and sandy beaches'' with that enormous amount of drag and resistance along with the shopping cart wheel at the back, how do you honestly expect any man or women to use their upper body strength to travel anywhere other than a flat road, never mind up the side of mountains. Granted the majority of people with disabilities are the older generation who would be more frail than others, army soldiers particularly suffer from missing or damaged limbs. The middle aged customer seemed to be putting considerable effort in moving the trike along a smooth surface, which again ultimately contradicts the whole appeal of the product as it's only advantage over traditional wheelchairs is that this trike can travel along flat country trails along side push bikes, although if this only has a messily top speed of 5mph how could you possible keep up with your more abled family.
@NickLiang8 жыл бұрын
It's in the clever leverage system. Also the suspension units used makes it extremely durable and more comfortable over rough terrain. Even if it is only used over a few curbs, bumps or grass. If you've used a traditional wheel chair before, you would know it is not very durable, difficult to propel if you have weak grip strength (which is the most common weakness in the elder generation or any degenerative condition) because the leverage does not allow you to maximise your upper limb strength. And then it offers much more stability compared to a traditional wheel chair over rough grounds, bumps and curbs. Easier to drive independently, more durable, safer and more comfortable. 3- 4 mph is a brisk walk, 5+ is a jog, so you can easily keep up. I know this because I work as a physiotherapist and I would love to be able to offer this product to many of my patients. Your logic is completely flawed.

it has two push handles. this would mean the arms would be made healthier with each push without having to worry about the 'get hands caught rolling the wheels (fingers have been known to get caught during this lower armed process). I like the design and with the bum and body's weight more behind each push to move, there is a more efficient flow of energy with this model. pushing a wheel over and over does not use the weight of the body but pushes against it, where as the body in this seat with the push movement does use the weight of the bum and back to help the arms and there by developing more than just the arms during this exercise. only 3:44 in and the product looks good. cant speak to a evaluation as of yet. Thanks for the upload. Gyms may ask for such tools/toy/chair with wheels, for their running tracks. any one could ride one of these bikes inside on their indoor tracks and develop their arms. less diabetes if bodies move their arms and legs more over the stay put and couch out

well 9:42 answers why he his opening offer is to sell 5% . because there are already 2 x 20s out there and a starting point is supposed to be low, also, no body assumes at this stage of their business (barely break even) that they should offer all the rest of the stock out for such a low value, knowing they require more coins than the director and manufacturing dudes can conjure. these two 40% owners (total) might add some sort of efficiency that leads to a lower Opportunity Cost but they dont bring more sales to then afford not only more than break even but a retained earning from which they could as shareholders dividend out after tax $ to themselves. who does the networking ? and the sales' calls to the hospitals to find out (like lawyers do) who got hurt last night and may well need a sales' pitch to buy their new and needed chair?/ is there a bloat at the hospitals? at the court houses? at the taxis and ubers, asking them, 'so u have any chair owners using your service? do u want a commission for a lead on a sale? have not heard any of this quite relevant information as of yet by the 9:42 mark (yes i did stop the video to type this comment)
