I think the confusion in hypergamy is when people use the wrong definition; which is trading up. Men do trade up to a person of a superior caste or class when it comes to the looks department. I Haven't really found a word for it, but I'm sure there is one.

@Beth Éireann Douchebag? Because his wife doesnt give a shit, effectively trapped him forcing him to forfeit his sexuality completely (which he up to this point had very little of) and because of her laziness and weakness hes just supposed to let it happen? @Beth Éireann At least it sounds like at first that he wanted his wife to improve herself like he did. It's sad when a marriage falls apart, but when one spouse doesn't care about their appearance because of the financial threat of divorce is sad as well. I question if either of these people love each other. Unfortunately their children are going to suffer.

Scuffedgodcx How did she trap him? When they met she was working, he was in school....a 26 year old virgin. I imagine he was more than happy that crooked teeth lady was willing to date and have sex with him. She still wants to have sex....he said she hasn’t done the married cutting it off....he just doesn’t want to have sex with her. He is now making money, got his teeth straightened, and works out. He didn’t say she got fat. He said her hair is always a mess and her teeth are crooked, she has had some health scares, and doesn’t like her annoying mom voice. How has she trapped him? She is basically the same....still working as a teacher (she didn’t quit her job when they had their kid). Her teeth are the same as they were when they met. She could try a different hair cut..........but it’s not about the hair, teeth, even her annoying mom persona. He has worked on himself, is no longer that nerdy 26 year old virgin and wants to go ride whatever the equivalent to the cock carousel is for men. Sow his oats. He has the women/girls on campus eyeing him up, he never had that before and wants to experience it. I don’t fault him......but don’t write some rationalization letter looking for the okay to divorce his snaggled toothed wife. Just divorce her, go have your fun, and stay involved in your kids life (and save up for your daughters braces, sounds like she likely will likely need them).

A man's market place value almost always increases with age as he gets firmly emplaced in his career and moves up the financial chain. A woman invariably goes down in value as she ages and loses fertility. I've been married for 37 years. I find my wife just as beautiful as the day we got married. Sure, she's older, a bit more wrinkled, a little bit chubbier but so am I. A good wife, im my humble opinion, is there for a man when he is in the dumps so he should be there for her when she is low.

I loved my wife of 20 years until the day she died from an aggressive cancer after she turned 40, held her in my arms and did everything I could to keep her alive. Sure, she gained weight in her later years, but I still loved her, and stayed by her side. Maybe I just don't live in the real world. But now that I am widowed, the world seems very materialistic and different, much in line with many of these videos. So I'm lost. Love doesn't exist anymore, just an illusion?

He was to selfish to help and just cheated (I was losing weight and still looked really good afterwards because people also told me my shape was really good). @JonnyC 289 That can be managed through 50/50 custody, which should be standard custody. As for staying married for the kids, this could be devastating to the man depending in the state you live in. In California the longer you are married the longer you have to pay spousal support. A marriage is a legal and social contract, once two people find no joy in each others company the marriage should be dissolved. You only have so much time on this earth, every moment is precious...do not squander that precious time in a life you do not wish to live.

While you cannot force yourself to feel sexually attracted to a person, this guy has to remember that his wife married him when he was just a 5/10 and was not earning that much. She was there for him and loved him at that time. If he gets divorced and tries to look for better women, he will attract only gold diggers and hypergamous women who certainly won't love him for who he is but for what he has. If your wife loved you during your tough times, she's a keeper. Besides, she seems to be a wonderful mother to the daughter. Why impose a gold digging, unloving stepmom on the kid?

@@war1980 Marriage and life itself is not about having great hair and straight teeth. It's about the trust you have in a partner whom you know will love you no matter your level of attractiveness and through the hardships of life. Anyway, desire fades after many years in all marriages. The guy is young and handsome now but will be old and over the hill later on. The future is all about a stable relationship which will stand the test of time and hardship rather than a hot, hypergamous wife who will jump the ship when a better opportunity arises. You know what say, ugly women make the best wives.

He's probably just horny and wants some different tail. As they say, the grass isn't greener on the other side. If he gets some new tail, it's probably not going to be much better than his wife's (at first it will seem like it is, but when the newness wears off, a hole is a hole). He'll find out that women aren't worth the effort and will regret leaving her, especially when his paychecks are garnished for child support and alimony. Maybe he should take a trip to las vegas and get a few call girls. That might be against his morals, but then again, divorce should be against his morals, too.

Exactly. No women with real marriages divorce husbands because they lose their job. Job loss is part of life. My husband lost his job on our 1 month anniversary and then years later because the companies were moving the work to India. Divorcing wasn't a thought in my head for a second. Only gold diggers divorce men who lose their income. And this guy's marriage doesn't sound like any kind of an arrangement where she was supposed to maintain herself as his trophy wife.

@@zsuzsuspetals Yes, listening to his letter is infuriating. Does he know how many men would probably kill for a solid woman like this? All of these things are unimportant, but I'm not in his shoes. I was with a woman for a while that I LOVED but simply was not attracted. . . but I didn't marry her. We split and are still friends, nothing more. It's a shame he didn't have enough dating experience to know this prior to making a human life with this person. I can't believe the lingo this guy is using ("game") and he's been married for so long now. People are weird.

Glad I wasn't the only one who thought this. The impression I got from the guy's letter is that he is immature and self-serving. It's a fact that every woman gets less hot with age and familiarity. Love and commitment is about going beyond yourself, growing as a person, becoming a better version of yourself. Marriage is just a tool to help with that, in my view. I can't really cheer for this guy when the only reason he wants out is because his wife doesn't look like she used to.

Maybe among newlyweds, there's more happiness and sex. But everything changes after kids come into the picture. You're not better than everyone else because you consider it a "blessing" to be married and shooting babies out of your genitalia. There are over 7 billion people in the world, we don't need more! P.S. I am a woman, and I have no interest in having kids and getting woken up by their screaming 4:00 am tantrums (and I'm in my mid-30's, so I'm not going to change my mind).

I actually have a guy friend who went through this and overcame it. When he started taking care of himself and became rich (multi-millionaire), he started to get attracted to other women and starts getting turned off by his wife. His wife lived through it for the sake of their 3 daughters. Until one day, he told himself that his mind can be stronger than his own selfish desires. He did things to convince himself that he is attracted to his wife. He would wake up and look for something good in his wife and compliment her. He would even peep when she showers and tell her how sexy she is(even when she was a lot heavier than when he married her). He did everything he could to look for one thing that he like about her. Then she started to blossom naturally. She started taking care of herself more. Then one day he realised, he's no longer faking it. He actually starts to be attracted to her again and falling in love with her all over again. He honored his commitment and gave everything he could and it all turned out well. Forcing somebody to be what you want them to be is what exhausts this guy who wrote the email. Instead of being fixated with what his wife doesn't have, he could try to look for even one thing that he likes about her. The actual problem is not because the wife is being neglectful of herself, it's the husband's view on how he wanted her to be. He is planting seeds of disdain for his wife in his mind, and those seeds are now turning into a tree. What occupies your mind, controls your LIFE. And this guy is full of expectations and not actually doing what he can for his wife. How about volunteer to take care of the kid and the house to give her a time to pamper herself every now and then. And just the fact that he is even annoyed by her "mommy mode", like dude, she is taking care of the house and your kid. Grow the fuck up. I hope you read this is realize that she is not the one giving you that depression, it's you and your unnecessary expectations of her.

This sounds similar to a story I read in a Stephen Covey book. Someone was inquiring: "I feel like I don't love my wife anymore. What should I do?" The gist of his reply was: "LOVE your wife." In other words, he was suggesting that love is a verb and if he acted in a selfless, loving way toward his wife--even though the feeling seems to be absent---the concept of love may change for him. And it did! After he had behaved lovingly, the feeling of love started to arise once again, and it was a deeper understanding of what love is. This challenging time became a source of great insight into a deeper part of this man, and also enabled him to move his relationship to a more meaningful level.

As a mental health professional, I have a little different take on this. While I sympathize with his complaints about her letting her self go somewhat, I think there is a bigger issue here. He is not happy and is expecting her to make him happy which is common but this is false thinking. She can fix her teeth and jump through hoops but until he works on his own issues, she will never be enough. From reading the email I see a lot of issues with this guy. I sense a deep insecurity and immaturity even though he is touting himself. He has no commitment or true love for her. He is lacking in morals and values.. as are you. Opening up the marriage or divorcing will not make him happy in the long run. Sad situation and equally sad advice.

He may not be a family law lawyer though...while my gut feeling says he should leave, you do have to question if he's trying to make up for all the various women he could have slept with in his 20's to give him that rounded experience of what he missed out on...the downside is when he's with the next hottie having mind blowing sex, that will be a transient moment as the cycle of beauty will eventually wear thin on her too...so he needs to decide, is it marriage he wants, or just women that sexually blow his mind🤔

He said he was feeling less attraction because her teeth were a turn off, her hair was a mess, and she was always acting in annoying mommy mode. I guess maybe mommy mode was bitchy. Having a kid does sometimes effect the attractiveness of a spouse. I think he’s only every been with his wife and he wants to see what else is out there.

@bizkitgto Because most men (especially young men) are inexperienced at life and male and female dynamics and thus they see through a 'blue pill' glass darkly. Female nature must be experienced and cannot just be taught to men, because most young men who have little to no experience with women can't be taught this because they're ignorant of it and never experienced it. So most will just use shaming language and call you bitter...especially the ones raised by single moms and feminists. They project how they view women and are attracted to women onto women so they usually have to learn the hard way when they find out that men and women are not equal biologically and look for different things or have different mating strategies. This is why Entrepreneurs in Cars is spot on when he tells men to spend their 20's figuring themselves out and building their empire. Most men that young have so much to learn. But even if men do the right thing in their 20's, I'd still never tell them to marry. It's akin to putting a gun to your head. Especially as every year it seems the laws become worse. (Just look at how Canada's court ruling recently threw out mens ability to use video as proof in rape allegation cases.)

Would take everything and leave them with bugger all. This guy wants to live a better life, ok thats his choice.. but can he stop playing the victim and be open and just leave! Yes Mate you will have to split the assests 50/50, yes mate the mother will want to keep custody and rightfully so, yes you will have to pay child support. If you don't want to then don't leave. But it takes two to tango. He hasn't exactly described his wife as an evil woman, she a standard working mother.

I think that you are wrong about why this guy is depressed. He has been married for 9 years and he has been on antidepressants for 12 years, so something was wrong before he got married. You are also making the assumption that the wife has gained weight. The person who wrote the letter was very specific about what he did not like so if weight was a part of the problem, I am assuming that he would have mentioned it. Overall I think that the guy’s complaints are very small. In my opinion hair is not a problem. The complaint about the teeth is totally without merit if the wife had the same teeth at the time they got married - he had the chance to say no to those teeth. Did she suddenly stop brushing her teeth after they married? I am also not sure why the mommy mode is a bad thing; you talk different to children than you do to adults. That’s common sense. Later in the letter the guy even seems upset that his wife’s top priority is being a mother. This situation reeks of hypergamy. When the guy was a 5 he married a 5, but now that he is an 8 (or so he thinks) he is unhappy with a 5. Looking down on people like that is textbook hypergamy. Also if we are going to talk about market value (like in economics) its important to say that the market determines value, not the individual. How many men are looking for a woman who can work full time while being a devoted mother and according to this letter seems pretty loyal too? On the other hand, the type of women that this guy seems to be after, how many of them would date a guy who is 5’ 7’’ and who could be making a lot less than 85k a year after the divorce? Also engineers with a Ph. D. can do better job wise so will the ladies see him as enough of an alpha? Not all women are obsessed with money, but they still like to see some ambition. At the end of the day this marriage seems headed towards a divorce. It’s not possible to force attraction and nobody wants to be in a relationship where the other person is not interested. I think the wife is unlikely to go crazy, because he lawyer father would advise her to remain calm, because she looks like the victim here. According to this letter, she has not really done anything wrong. It’s also worth saying that the letter was kind of rough and if the guy has said this stuff to his wife’s face, well people have probably claimed emotional abuse and distress for less. As far as what the guy should do, I think that he should figure out what he wants and deal with whatever caused him to start taking antidepressants a dozen years ago. I agree with you that his inexperience could have worked against him. Based on this letter, I am not sure if he wants to be a husband and/or a father.

Been in a very similar (albeit condensed) situation: dated an ex for about two years, she was hot as hell when we got together, but she got comfortable nearly immediately after we got together, and started to let herself go (she optimized her "single" season to get in great shape, then when entering a relationship, instantly let herself go with the eating). She held an ultimatum over my head to move in with her, and I fell into it (first relationship, I was very beta). Knew it was a bad choice from the first day of moving into our new place. Let it go on for 4 months, as she grew bigger and bigger and I grew less and less attracted to her. Cut ties in the 4th month, was sad as hell for a couple days, then came to my senses with a massive weight lifted off my shoulders. Got into great shape, moved up in my job, dated a few hot women, etc. This girl was great and amazing in so many ways, but the attraction waned, and I felt like she was holding me back. Again, it hurt for a few days, but ultimately I'm way happier with who I am now than who I was then.

My advice? In the words of the great Patrice O’Neal: “get yourself a side bitch; stop being a pussy”. If he is careful, he won’t get caught and will get the poison out... assuming he can close. If he gets caught, it may be a wake up call for his wife to step it up.

The reality of red pill is merely response to feminism, the farther the feminism goes the farther opposite the red pill will be. It’s some what a natural counter balance reaction. That’s why it seem that he is bashing on feminist women but then goes and builds a counter response. That is why we will be seeing more LGBT population growth because men and women lost touch and sense of dignity. I'm gonna start replying to Blue/Purple Pilled comments by writing *BLUE PILL* in bold lettering and then explaining myself. You're my first victim (godforbid you're trolling). *BLUE PILL* No. Outside of aging, no man should feel obligated to stay with any woman that he finds unattractive. Why? Because 1: she wouldn't do the same thing if roles were reversed, and 2: you should never defer to a woman. His SMV is clearly at its peak, he's maximized it. His problem isn't necessarily her attractiveness, but the fact that she doesn't want to put in the work to make herself more attractive to him. Rollo puts it best: you may love many women, but if you're married, you're probably only going to be fucking your wife. The question that this guy needs to ask himself is: "Who am I fucking, and why?" He's got the why down, but he doesn't have the who down, and that's why he's here. Rich's standards aren't low for pointing out how men view women. Personally, I don't give a shit how nice she is if I just want to fuck, and if I'm marrying the girl, I give just as much of a fuck about her looks as I do her personality. I don't think any guy should marry anything outside of an (to them). Why? Because the 8 will be the girl that has the best personality for her hotness. Any higher and she won't feel the need to cherish the relationship (like this woman here) and any lower, and she won't be able to really get you off and make the sex worthwhile (this man's dilemma). Rollo says a 7, but if you were to go for maximum hotness, I'd definitely say an 8, ESPECIALLY if you are at peak SMV. A 7 is best for guys that have high SMV but not max (and are alpha enough) and a 6 is best for guys like myself who have a lot of work ahead of them. You should NOT go lower under ANY circumstances, and this guy is settling for a 4. Personality is irrelevant here. He needs better pussy. If the sex was good enough it wouldn't be a problem, but it obviously is. He needs better pussy. K I'm done ranting. Good day.

Ever heard the saying, "Show me a beautiful woman and I'll show you a man tired of fucking her"? So, pretty much Rich is saying if a woman is beautiful with no personality that's good enough? Nah, thanks. I'm good. In other news there's too much bs and hypocrisy in the manosphere. Even if a woman meets the arbitrary "quality woman" qualification many men would still cheat on her if they can get away with it and they will justify it with, "People are meant to be monogamous. Alpha men are meant to spread their seed".

@dezkightz 5 жыл бұрын
@@Uzodesign See that's why I commented, I misunderstood. You're still wrong tho, and here's why: You misunderstand what Rich is saying. Of course women need more than looks to truly keep a man invested in them. You're absolutely right on that front and I retract my earlier statement because of it. HOWEVER, I'm pretty sure he's merely talking about the level of effort that women need in the SMP. To begin to attract a man, a woman doesn't need personality, she just needs good looks. We are more attuned to a personality (and some of us are more turned on by it, like you and I) BECAUSE of the Red Pill. Our understanding of it cuts through all the bullshit pretty much instantly, and looks at things from an objective standpoint. Objectively speaking, a woman doesn't need a personality to attract men. She just needs to be hot. This is part of why porn is so successful. My bad for jumping to conclusions though, I get you now. A simple misunderstanding is all.

@@dezkightz Yes, looks grabs a mans attention first and foremost and a great personality + the looks holds the man's attention for the long term. Yes, even if it's a shory term long term (if that makes sense). I understand you're giving Rich the benefit of the doubt (nothing wrong with that) but I'm going based on what he said. Taking him at face value. As Rollo said a man is only as good as his options. So, we often accuse women of hypergamy but most men given the opportunity will fuck the next hotter woman and maybe even leave their woman for her if there was no risk to them. This to me is the male equivalent of hypergamy.

The best thing you can do is be honest with your lady. She may not hold your attention or desire at this time but you did promise a life with her and you created a child from it. There is some responsibilities there. You owe her honesty not your life. Before you speak with her figure out what you want to do. Maybe it's a separation, maybe it's straight divorce. But figure that out first make plans for that. When you speak with her do not make her wrong. It's okay to change your mind, which you did. Ask her what she needs to be okay or to get on her feet. Try to work out an arrangement before getting the courts or attorneys involved it will save you thousands of dollars. Get it on paper, be generous, did not make an offer however asked her what she feels she needs and for how long. Agree on a custody situation, be fair. No matter how she responds or Acts you must remain calm. When that is not possible you must exit the space. Always take the high road. Lastly make sure you evaluate the good parts of your relationship and the reasons why you were with her in the first place. You may find that when you get out in the dating world these women are not what you expect. Good luck brother!

Plus the annoyance he feels with her for no apparent reason. Furthermore, the fact that he works on a campus. Will give him an unrealistic view of what single life will be. He needs to remember, he got out of the dating pool as a young virgin. His sexual experience, is with one woman. He's not entering the dating pool, as his 20-year old self again. He's a 36 year old 5' 7" man, whose only ever been with one woman (his pleasant fuck that his wife likes, won't impress anyone). Plus the added baggage of a young child. I have an interesting take on this. I met once the owner of a distillery that used to be probably a 4/5, invisible to women, his (at the time) wife devoted her money and time to him for years while his business didn't give any money. When his business got sold to a very big company all the sudden he started to hit on pretty women and started to look for an upgrade. It was pretty heart breaking to see. This guy on the podcast sounds like going through a mid-life crisis, recently a dad of a 4 yrs old that never got any attention and now all the sudden got some abs, some success and is getting some attention and realizes he didn't sleep with as many women as he now wants. It sounds to me like his wife was there for him when he was a 4 and now that he's a 7 or whatever he thinks he is, he can jump into the hookup scene and be happy without thinking the consequences to his daugther, wife that was there for him and even himself. Has he maybe thought his wife might be having a hard time finding balance between raising kids and have time for herself? has he made sure she even has the time for herself to rest and energize to even want to work out or look better? no, all I heard is the complaint of a shallow person that got abs and all the sudden feels he should be out there banging people instead of being a real man, have a nice conversation with his wife and find out if she needs any type of support and work on his marriage. Weak!

The subject of this video,the man,is unaware of the hard realties of hypergamy. If the situation was reversed, she'd jump ship without a second thought. Basically he's suffering from what I call the root of male suffering, namely ; UNWAVERING LOYALTY. This characteristic is what women lack,which is why men suffer more emotionally when relationships break down. Short answer : Be ruthless and get rid of her.

You guys sound exactly like feminist. Grow some balls! If you are finding horrible women it's your own fault. men don't have an unwavering loyalty anymore than women do. People either do or don't, stop thinking with the lower head. Can any of you guys say you would be friends with an asshole? I'm seriously concerned that this man does not seem to be putting any inclinations toward his child well being...this reads so similar to leaving ones longterm wife for a prettier (almost definitely usually younger) woman. In those scenarios, or this one having daddy leave mom because she isnt pretty enough anymore, how do those girls often end up? It's not easy to find a good loyal woman who is also a steady wage earner and good attentive legitimately involved mother; having all those attributes down in her and then trying g to equalize their worth to be equal or less than her physical appearence?! And if he does divorce? Your going to be hard pressed to meet another woman whom satisfies your sexy/body/beauty requisits that also happens to be a fine case for morherhood(sake of argument lets assume the next one is not s divorcee or single mom; therefore would want children of her own someday,ideally with you obviously) , is capable and willing to contribute to the domestic income, and is loyal. Finding a woman like that who is also at ease with the notion that you left your first wife because she just wasnt attractive to you anymore, that you broke up a seemingly complete family unit, your not sir. A good woman with the qualities and traits you require (lets not forget, that you already have) will take one look at your single parent homewrecker status and swipe left before you can blink. In a divorce situation with kids involved they should be the primary priority, nor your penis's degree of contentment. I'm not saying he should "stay together for the kuds" and be miserable. But the fact that he DID NOT ONCE speak on his child welfare in all of this is nauseating.

I suggested the open relationship, which sent her over the edge. She also tried the domestic violence card on me but had 0 proof and got thrown out. I was VERY careful before, during and after the exit. During family court she'd sit with other women and you heard them "take him for everything, you deserve it". Money was hidden, I sent the financed car packing, sold it got out. Bought a new one cash once I had a new address and court paperwork started. She got nothing out of it.

So many men in the comments saying the man is hypergamous. Well, he's NOT. Hypergamous women don't care about their partners. He clearly does. He's trying everything in his power to save the relationship. If he was hypergamous he would have cheated or filed for divorce a long time ago. He didn't do that. The man doesn't want the woman to look like a supermodel. He just wants her to MAKE AN EFFORT to look beautiful. but the woman apparently doesn't want to. Why can't the woman do something small like have her teeth fixed. What's so difficult about that? Just like Richard, I'd also like to know what complications come from teeth straightening procedures. This is just a flimsy excuse to remain the way she is. She knows she has him locked down so she doesn't need to do anything to look good for him. For goodness sake the man has even tried therapy! What do you want him to do? Remain unhappy for the rest of his life with an unattractive woman? Change is the only constant in life. Again, he's not asking her to look like a supermodel. He just wants her to MAKE AN EFFORT. Show you care about him. START BY FIXING YOUR DAMN TEETH LADY! WHAT'S SO HARD ABOUT THAT? IT'S AN EXERCISE THAT REQUIRES ZERO EFFORT. If she's not even willing to do that kick her out. I support you. All the best.

In all honesty, I see only one option here. This sponsor should get divorced. If you can't find your wife appealing now, it's just never going to happen as the years go on. Indeed, you cannot negotiate desire. And to be on anti-depressants because of it? Even worse. Do you know what is worse than being unhappy today? Being unhappy for the days and years to come. Life is too short. It sounds like perhaps your wife is a decent mother to your child and a decent human...if you can manage to extricate yourself from the marriage but stay on good terms with co-parenting to minimize the damage, then you'll be far better off in the long term. Right now you are putting a temporary band-aid on a permanent wound, and it never heals.
@eperot
@eperot 5 жыл бұрын
@Beth Éireann Beth...I'm not really sure what you are getting at except to perhaps provoke a negative response, which I'm not going to give you. But I will give you my own take: I'm indifferent to who is initiating divorce. I think the only time a relationship has a chance of working long term is when both persons involved are interested in maintaining themselves and strive to be consistently better, both for themselves and for their partners. I'd be giving the same advice to a woman that I gave to this sponsor. The sex of the initiator shouldn't matter. If you take care of yourself, eat well, go to the gym, expand your mind, continue learning and exploring, and your significant other just lets themselves go, I honestly think that's a deal breaker.
@eperot
@eperot 5 жыл бұрын
@Beth Éireann I think the fact that over 70 percent of divorces are initiated by women is a bit telling, though. In my own experience, men are the sex more likely to try and make things work (even if to their own detriment and happiness) than women, who have a much easier time leaving (emotionally and legally). Men are the real romantics. Women seem to have a stronger awareness that there are more fish in the sea. And as I read it, this sponsor sounds like a guy who had a serious case of one-itis when his own SMV was relatively low. Now that he's worked on himself and is realizing his own potential, he's also realizing that his wife has let herself go and appears unwilling to try to improve. He's gone as far as taking anti-depressants to try and make himself believe that he's happy in his situation, and I'd bet it's because he really doesn't want to hurt his wife or break up his family. If that isn't romantic, I don't know what is.
@eperot
@eperot 5 жыл бұрын
@Beth Éireann "due to the fact this is the first time in history where women have to had to work outside of the home, plus do the lion's share of the childrearing and homemaking." You can thank modern third-wave feminism for that. Personally, I believe women are unhappy because they take on too much, and there are studies that back this up. Feminism has taught women that they can have it all and all at once. You may be able to, but you won't do anything (work, parenting, being a spouse, etc...)particularly well. There are only so many hours in the day. Remember as Richard is fond of saying...we are masters of two things...needlessly complicating our lives and then justifying why we did it. Simplicity is golden.
@eperot
@eperot 5 жыл бұрын
@Beth Éireann Beth, I have two things to say, and I say it with great respect. The first is a simple biological reality. We as humans are not truly monogamous, and just because you get married doesn't mean you wear blinders and no longer notice other attractive people in the world. I am in a great relationship with a modern woman, and we are both attracted to each other very much. Yet, we are also both adult enough to admit that we obviously see members of the opposite sex in the world who are attractive to us. There is nothing evil or sinful about it. Neither of us point it out to the other, but you know and accept that it happens. And in the end we come to each other because both of us understand that what we have together is rare and good and not worth screwing up. Secondly, I couldn't help but notice that on another comment thread below you claimed to be with your fiancee and sister and her kids drinking eggnog, wrapping presents and sitting in front of the Christmas tree. Why in such a Hallmark moment would you be wasting your time jumping online watching manosphere videos that you disagree with and exchanging comments with people who disagree with you? It seems like a colossal waste of time. Unless perhaps you are feeling a bit uncomfortable about what lies ahead in marriage, and hope that your fiancee doesn't think with a red pill frame. Why not just enjoy your evening instead?

Going on dates and being in relationships with different women help me determine what I was looking for in a woman. The problem I think he had was his lack of experience he had with women and not knowing what traits he really wanted from his partner. Before he gets married again he needs to play the field and figure out what traits he wants his partner to have that complements his own. Everything comes with the personal traits he finds attractive in the women. He just really needs to get the experience with other women to find what he is truly looking for! :)
