This is so interesting as women are taught the same information. I watch a lot of 'high value' feminine content and I have always been told that men like to pursue and women are to be receptive if they like the man but not take action. If you seem too eager it can come across badly, but pretending to be stoic or uninterested, imo, sends mixed signals and doesn't help you. It's a mix cause then you'll probably just get guys who are more serious about you, but to the point where they don't take no for an answer. Nowadays, I think guys are a lot shyer and more worried about not being accused of sexual misbehavior, and so need a bit more prompting or assurance that yes, it's ok for guys to approach and chat with you, you won't bite, you're thankful for the opportunity even if the answer is no, etc. Nowadays I kind of just don't care as much. I'll initiate and send a message or two, and if the girl hasn't realized by this time that they need to try, spend time and actually get to know me, then its not worth pursuing, imo. If it looks like she is unresponsive, or doesn't try to also uphold the conversation or takes too long to respond, I take that as a sign she has no interest. Or if she refuses too often or just seems like she's making excuses. I expect the man to initiate and to out in the initial effort and invites, but how she responds will tell me if I should continue. Most girls don't seem to prioritize relationships and prioritize their own interests and schedules over getting to spend some decent amount of time to hang out or know me, which is a turn off. If you can't even become a good friend to me or the person asking you out, then imo you can forget the possibility of taking it to the next level aka dating of course you do have to look out for guys who are players and only say what you want to hear, but actually aren't interested in committing to you. But if a guy isn't putting any effort in, then he prob isn't interested, or is too shy, or hasn't noticed you while guys tend to fall in love first and should initiate, if he hasn't noticed you, imo it's the girl's job to hint strongly or just tell him know you've interest. Not sure I agree about the signal it sends when a woman snatches up the check after dinner. It might mean they're interested, and they want you to owe them the next dinner. But it might also mean that they're not interested and they want to pick up the check so that they're not beholden to you, because being beholden to you would mean they would feel obligated to respond to your communications and perhaps spend more time with you - which they don't want to do. I really like this guy. He gives good advice and I can tell he does in fact know what he's talking about. A couple things I'd like to add to the advice given here though is this... body language is so HUGE. Take the check thing for instance. The woman never should pay on a date! That's a man's role. Expecting a woman to ever pay for a date is just "ick". Where does this mindset come from? Is this a millenial thing? (I'm gen-X)

The part about when a woman gives you her number makes her interested....that's not always the case. In my experiences, women have given the phone number and then ignored all attempted communication. I'd shoot a text here, a phone call there, and after two attempts at different times/days, I let it go because after two attempts, it seems like I'd be begging or chasing and I'm not in the business to do either. But overall, I've concluded that a woman will do this simply to be "nice" to you. She doesn't want to be honest and say why she's really not interested in the guys attempt to pursue her, so she gives the number, or social media name knowing that as soon as you try to reach her, she isn't going to respond. I simply give my number out now instead of taking one because I've learned if they are interested they will call/text you.

If she wants to meet at a restaurant of her choosing, she's interested in a free meal not in you. If she wants to meet for coffee, say no! Too much time to say something stupid. If there's a bill to fight over, you've screwed up, don't spend money on strange women, you'll go broke. @@JD-fx1np From my experience....single moms are usually bad decision makers that have serious financial problems. In general, women are usually in worse financial positions than men. They generally work lower skilled "hobby" jobs, have numerous health expenses, spend money like crazy on frivolous things and have less work ethic. If they do have higher positions, they spend more, try to work less and then retire rather quickly.

I have aspergers syndrome and about 12 months ago, a woman expressed in me. I was instantly not interested, and I told her this. For some reason, she ignored what I said to her and she kept annoying me. I might struggle to read subtly but I try my best to read the social ques. It really pisses me off when I say exactly what I think/feel and people think I am being sarcastic or that I don't mean what I say. This woman who kept annoying the shit out of me. Then I was in a relationship with a Peruvian expatriate living in my town and then she finally backed off. I feel like I express myself like a 50 year old man. Women say they want men to be honest but I don't think they do. If a man is honest with them they get pissed off. I don't think women understand what they are saying when they say "I want an honest man/I want men to be honest"
