A bit frustrating that the resistance ending isn't canon and won't be getting any sequels but it is what it is, we're still lucky to be getting mods like that and being able to play them for free. Absolutely amazing

I'm pretty sure Bec shows up in the credits if you don't drink the cans and holster your weapon. If you drink the cans it's bloody cop.

In the resistence ending in the credits, the CP has both eyes glowing (at least for me). I'm pretty sure thats suppose to represent you, but thats only my take on it.

Just replayed the game, there's no difference. Not killing Bloody gets you the canon ending regardless of whether you drink cans or not.

Lore wise the water really only makes you forget things, so in the game character just forgot he even had a wife and wouldn’t really have any big and strong issue with the combine other then them being the omnipotent overlords and oppressors of earth.

judging by the text on the screen in the game after you drink every can: The cans of water erase past memories and implant false one's, but the effect is cumulative. You need to drink the cans of water regularly or the effects will wear off.

the soldiers that appear in half-life alyx being a class you could select wouldnt really make much sense. it seems pretty clear that theyre an earlier version of the transhumans present in half-life 2, so having them show up during/after the uprising doesnt make much sense

Well, changing the main character can continue the story of Resistance. In example, the first chapter we will play 'the hubby", but he stays. Yeah, yeah, that's not the point, he needs to think, he miss his wife, blah-blah... And the second chap we need what? Bingo! To play the next character - "one-eyed". Great person in my opinion! The story continues, the Resistance goes further. Maybe, maybe! next chapters shall have different hero too. I think, she-combine will be fine at the final episode. Who knows, maybe the hubby will return to help his pal. Yep, three main characters, no more for the Resistance branch. And NO HUMANS! Just combines, because we play Entropy Zero, right? But we still have the main story, where all cans were drinked. No need other characters there. The Great And Terrible Hubby will do everything has to be done. Yeah, just some fantasies about... oh, this is where I get off.
