I love mine but the controller is utter crap. There is also no easy way to tram the head either so consider making a tramming plate early on.

Getting very close to the price of a Foxalien Vasto, which is a far better machine.

Highly debatable. I've used both. This is over $1000 cheaper - almost half the price of a Vasto. The Vasto is a better machine, but not by much. Linear rails beat the double v wheels in longevity. But this machine has closed loop steppers for better precision. Other than that, rigidity and performance is the same - at least until the v wheels or bearings wear out. If replacing the linear bearings in the Vasto less often than replacing the v wheels on the ProVerXl is worth the extra $1k+, then have at it. I could change both out in less than 10 min. My time isn't worth that much lol. I like both, but I'm just keeping it real. This is more affordable and works just as well. It's a cheaper, lower risk investment for a beginner.
