@@natcoziay Yes, open up a Roth IRA. That is the best long term investment plan. I have mine through American funds. Ancfx large cap stocks. That is the best long term safe tax free way to build steady wealth.

@@smoovethetrucker1926 is there a lot of space in the cab ? I’ve seen some FedEx cabs that had a restroom and a shower .. are those the size you used for team driving ?

@@nicklaaflare1907 the oversized sleeper cab. Some FedEx contractors have those. Mostly owner ops. We don't have any of those unfortunately. The bed is big enough to do an ab workout/ pushups. Some drivers bring weights with them. And I have seen drivers install a pull up bar at the top of the truck inside.

They won't let you go. Unless you have a terrible driving record. Decent driver, and your golden. Job security is great at FedEx ground.

Hi Smoove, Do you know the employee costs for the healthcare? How much comes out of your check? And would you happen to know the costs of adding dependents?

Healthcare I'm almost positive is included for free. I haven't noticed any difference in my paychecks since we got benefits. Definitely claim as many dependents as possible. I personally claim 3. saves me around $200 per paycheck in taxes.

Honestly yes, it can be. Especially with the bad road conditions. You do become a heavier sleeper, and get more used to it over time. I probably only get about 4- 5 hours of sleep on the road to this day. Catch up on sleep on my off days 👍

If you went to an accredited FedEx approved CDL school. Have doubles endorsement. Then yes, can hire entry level line haul drivers. Put them with a trainer for a few months.
