Hmmmm, as always, just a few points. Time constraints : Maybe you didn't know but From 320-325 your expected arrival time is 07:37 CST based on a 02:30 ET cut. That is based on a 47.666 MPH giving you 6 hours to cover the 286 miles. They "might" call but it has only happened to me once in 7+ years and that time was only because they dispatched me on someone elses run by mistake. I still made that cut time as well. So, my point is, Do Not let FedEx Personnel tell you different. You have Ample time to make all loads. A Pro : When the truck breaks down you just go home! Hey, "Bob" your truck is broke Fix It, I am going home, have a nice day. Zero Shop time for the Driver. A Pro : When you have a roadside breakdown you have IMMEDIATE 24/hr roadside support and possibly another Driver to rescue your load AND still get paid for all miles that load pays even if you only made it 5 miles into the run. A Con : ZERO Communication between terminals...I don't even know how they are successful...SMH! A Pro : Maybe Elon Musk will by it and fix it! Stay Smooth my friend, I got this tonight!

I hope not man that used to pay for my food snacks and drinks all day everyday. I would have $300-$400 of points on my card at any given time. That happened to me a couple times. There’s a place on the app you can reach out to customer service and if they still have the program they will set it back up for you. Don’t let other truckers outside of FedEx use your card because it will recognize it’s not a FedEx transaction and kick you off the program that way also.

All contractors the same they dont give a shit about the drivers. They all lie typical recruiters bs . You dont get paid too hook up doubles you sit around and wait for loads all the damn time sometimes 24hrs or longer. Yes you can get a dedicated route but good luck getting time off. The load comes first over family health everything. So if your on dedicated and plan on vacations and extra days off too yourself or doctor good luck getting them too be okay they take a hit and risk losing the run. Also dedicated start at 12-6am so your time off gets cut super short cause you have too go too bed earlier too wake up earlier but your not tired yet so you end up driving fatigued the first day or two back it sucks . Slow ass trucks 65mph so you have too drive your whole clock and you get bored and tired after awhile.. lots of contractors do go 68-70mph but they are not supposed too and eventually they will get busted.. i can go on and on why fedex ground sucks.. only good thing is like unlike other ltl companies dont have too deal with senoirity and wait years too get a bid run you can get hired straight onto a dedicated run if you want.. trust me 65mph will drive you insane after like 6-12 month if you even make it that long before your breaking point.. Is fedex ground the worst not so much but ltl companies are better if you can make it long enough too have enough senoirity where no one really messes with you At first ltl companies your basically on call so that sucks until you get a set schedule but you will make more at ltl companies the longer you are there. Good luck is all i have too say with fedex ground...

You need atleast 1 year class A experience and a doubles endorsement as minimum qualifications. Get those, don't have a criminal record or dui/dwi and you can get in somewhere. I know for sure we are hiring in Wisconsin right now. I run Manitowoc to Eau Claire M-F. I start around 8pm and am back around 6am with a 2 hour nap/layover waiting on the return trailer from midnight until 2am. Great pay and everything he says is true.

@preciousBey believe it or not, they started me off with $19.80 per hour, they usually top out within 10 years, they cut down everyone's overtime, and they don't offer bonuses. Compare that to UPS, they start their drivers at $30 per hour or less, top out to $45 per hour within 4 years, plenty of overtime, and their benefits are free. And other Ltl companies, foodservice companies, and even fuel tanker companies are paying their drivers much more than FedEx Express is. I started off in the warehouse first making $13 per hour, I did that for 4 years, then I was a yard jockey for a year making $16 per hour, then after that I became a truck driver and got my CDL through them, and drove with them for 1 year before I left and became a tanker driver. So I'm hauling fuel now.
