I made my very first video “Feng Shui for Your Entryway” in 2014. It now has 0.7 million views. This inspired me to create a new video “Entryway Design Ideas + Feng Shui Entryway Tips” which I believe is much more informative and better :)) I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

My entryway is just like the last example shown in your video. Straight into the living room. Also, it looks right to the kitchen with a small island sep e rating the 2 spaces. And dining area to the left of kitchen. It appears upon entering as one large room with subtle division. I see it as a whole and it seems that a clever use of paint colors could command a more pleasant entryway. I have thought about a short wall the same as you mentioned and now I will be making that right as you step inside the house. A small divider would will be a good addition. Thanks so much for the ideas you suggest to make fenf shut opitim in my home. 😉👍❤

2:37 I have a beautiful garden with plants all around that I’ve made alongside the steps going up to my house then there’s a second steps that’s very wide and I have a top round wood door that’s red. And my entryway is I don’t think it’s more than 6 feet across. The interesting thing is most people come in and they see the terra-cotta tile and they think oh that’s great. Your house is from the 1930s. It’s from 1927. It’s a tiny little cube basically and I have a narrow skinny black entryway table currently has a bunch of Halloween, but then above that I have a hat rack that’s very long and brass and has vintage hats on it that I do wear from the 1920s 30s 40s and 1950s. It’s up probably about over 7 feet tall at that hat rack area and then to the left of the entryway table again that’s about 12 inches in depth and two cabinet doors across and the next to it is a bin that I put my gloves in because I live in a place where we wear a lot of gloves, been thinking about moving that and I probably should get rid of those. There’s too many items in that bin and then I have a beautiful picture with a man on a bicycle that basically founded our area and made a huge park and nature all around called Theodore Wirth! Autumn picture he’s wearing a hat anyway it’s a energetic yellow background and he’s wearing what’s called a straw hat and a red and white striped jacket and white pants from the 1920s style from local artist anyways 🧶 input?

It's hard for me to comment without seeing it, but sounds like you created a lovely and personalized space. Make sure it is not too crowded. Even if things are beautiful, too many of them in the small space will feel like clutter. The energy flows much better if the flow is unobstructed.

When you come in from my entry way there's a closet door right in front of it!!! How can i make it welcoming?

You have two more or at least one more wall that you can use to hang a special piece of art and place an entryway console table with something special on it. Make the best with what you have!

2:22 OK that house could have any color in the front because it has the lighting. It has the windows. It has the big entryway. There’s a big spacious high ceiling. OK give me one house. Mine is really small. I’ll give you scenario.
