Very nice. I think it would have been better if you applied a shabby edge like the quilt boarder. The pillow just needs something more for it to look finished Maybe pom-pom fringe?

Beautiful, Tracy! Did you use the FMQ squares in your recent tutorials to make the shabby rose quilt? I see different FMQ patterns on it, which makes me think that you enhanced your FMQ squares quilt with the shabby roses. Either way, both the quilt and pillow are very pretty! BTW: Where's your sweet sewing assistant??? Napping? 😉 Oh, yeah! In the past I've bought clearance holiday pillows from WalMart for $5 each. They are great to pick up and use for projects like this, if you can find them on clearance. The holiday pillows can be covered with muslin so the holiday fabric doesn't show through your new cover.

Great buying idea on the pillows Dori!!! I will definitely keep my eye out for that!!!✅ The rose quilt tutorial was awhile ago but yes I used FMQ in that video "some" of the time. That is still one of my favorite quilts 💛 I'll have that sweet baby tomorrow....she's walking all over now ....she'll be 1 years old on Feb 14😱❤️ Oh how the time goes by.
