i don't know what eli paper is but i've used baking paper before ; the issue is, i haven't been able to find a glue that will make it stick to something (which, well, is kinda the point of the baking paper ;) ) so i always have to saw it, and although i love using sewing in my journals/embellishments, i don't have the space to always have my sewing machine on hand so it's really troublesome :(

Hello Meanne, Deli paper is a coloured wraping paper for sandwiches in the food industry. I use the bearly art glue on the baking paper and if it doesnt stick i add some more and if that doesnt work i use the clear helma fabric glue and it stays put. Fabritac would be the substitute 🦋 hugs Donna

@@JunkJournalideas Is Deli paper coated (at least on the side in contact with food)? I'm trying to think of what it would be close to in France, maybe the paper to wrap meat at the butcher... We don't have these brand of glues in France (i don't think). I've tried with tacky/wood glue, with clear/all purpose glue and with a glue stick. Alas, after a few days, the baking paper usually falls off. Can't remember if I had tried with fabric glue (most likely...), I shall try again! Maybe super-glue...?

@@JunkJournalideas (I have brown colored and white baking paper and that's the closest thing i've find to glassine paper to make small envelops so i'd really like to find the right kind of glue! washi doesn't stick to it for long either... v.v)

@@Meanne77 I know what it's like to have troubles finding supplies, we do here in Australia too sometimes, I rely on the online shopping. super glue is too thin I feel and may not be the best solution, but you never know lol let me know if the fabric glue works for you this time?

@@Meanne77 we don't have much variety of glassine either, i have found the white variety but i prefer the clear glassine myself. when you find the right glue for the baking paper use it behind the washi as well :-)
