I learned this type of a trick quite a while ago and always called it Raiz Hyper D-leg. Thank you for the official name and the video 😁

Great explanation ! Can I suggest a tutorial? Cart Arabian… I really struggle with the axis, if not maybe some video about the cartwheel like you did with the j step and how to use a cart properly 🙏🏼

Envergado (also called armada dupla or arco-íris) is when you jump off two legs and land on two legs. You do it in the video a couple of times

In tricking envergado has always been a raiz variation (raiz double leg). What you are describing is just a double leg (d-leg) or more specifically a frontside pop d-leg.

I knew I was onto something when I brought my legs together at the end of the raiz. Would you say a regular envergado is better or worse got a setup than a raiz whip/punch?

Well what is the criteria for regular envergado? Because most people call any two leg landing raiz envergado. A clean one with united legs is harder to use for me at least.

@@johzuke1 I would say uniting the legs at the apex of the trick. I noticed it's definitely harder for me to get anything out of that, rather than uniting it at the end.

@@TatsuNovice same for me but would look cooler with early united legs for sure

Do you think learning envergado first to better understand raiz is a good idea?
@johzuke1
@johzuke1 7 ай бұрын
Well it depends on you. I would say raiz is a lot easier and more useful to learn.
