its just over a year since i purchased mine, the ch4400, i use this at home plus when camping, this stove is absolutely bloody awesome i love using it, mega efficient runs on almost no fuel, the heat & flame is like a small blacksmiths furnace, as i type this comment i am cooking a chicken curry in my dutch pot which happens to fit on top perfect, i purchased this out of my 50th birthday money, best money i have ever spent. i hope you guys trying to get hold of one get one as it's worth every single penny.

Great piece of kit. We were stopped from using both our Wood Gas stove and StoveTec Rocket stove. Even when I told them I would use charcoal in it. Don't you just love the blinkered Forestry Commission :-))

the ultra omits the cooking grate for charcoal grilling. that's cheap. so I guess I have to buy it separately. Can I?

It's easy enough to make charcoal at home. There are a lot of different videos on youtube that show you how. Basically you put chunks of wood in a pan with a lid on it (Cookie pan you get at christmas time or something like that) and stick it on a fire until it quits smoking and flaming and you got lump charcoal. Easy Peezy Lemon Squeezy.

i bought it at 99 British pounds around 125 dollars , very but very poor quality and not as good as they advertise , much better than a normal charcoal stove but not worth the money i paid , it went all rusty by the second time i use it i probably say 5 out of 10
