First thing I do when entering a sleeping patient. I say “I’m gonna be your favorite person today. I’m not gonna poke you or make you get up. Just clean up the place. Would you like your blankets changed for warm ones after I take these old ones?” I had pure empathy. Being in the hospital is scary so I try to comfort the patient while not interfering with nurse/dr’s

Thanks- I believe what we do is so important. I don’t think people realize sometimes that we are actually doing our best to help keep them Safe. But, that what we really are doing- bless y’all

I started a new job at Providence . I work with elderly people and clean up their rooms I’m proud to be a EVS !

I have a interview with the local hospital in 2 days im excited and nervous.. spent most my younger years chasing oilrigs and tuning wrench just ready for a change and a lower impact job fingers crossed
