That is one handsome beard. It looks clean, conditioned, and taken care of.

Don't need a campfire... The pad makes that romantic noise for you. WOW!!!

This product has so far been faultless & comfortable. It feels like it's heated somehow it reflects so much heat back at me. I prefer it to my big double mats & even though I pack it carefully (not removing all the air I don't think it's good to fully squash it) it's still really small. Just remove a bit of air & it's adjusted for comfort. The filling bag works well. Noise has been reported but for me it's not much more noisy than a sleeping bag rustle. I got the squired off one so my feet don't hit the ground & it's not really any heavier or bigger in reality.end of the day it is so much smaller than normal matts. Also I got the stick on attachments that connect the down sleeping blanket (also from thermarest) & it attaches to the sleep pad directly (see KZbin clip by another reviewer) This sleep system isn't cheap but now I have a comfortable light & tiny packed system that keeps me really warm. I hate mummy bags I need to move my legs so the down blanket works for me.also no drafts as it attaches to the underside of the matt & has draft flaps. This is the Ferrari in a world full of daewoo.

Thanks for the detailed review. I've been debating which pad to go for and think even though it's a big hit to the wallet it would be a perfect mat for me.

Appreciate the detailed review. Are there any 4-season pads out there that are available in regular(approx. 6ft/72in) length AND wider(approx. 2ft/24in plus) width? As i'd rather not carry around(& pay for) any additional unused bulk. Thanks. Bobby

Some brands do make a simple "Wide" pad. Brands such as Exped and Big Agnes offer these options. Exped calls the size "Medium/Wide" and Big Agnes will simply refer to the pad as "Wide". You can check out the options on both of those manufacturer's websites as well as Backcountryedge.com. Thanks for watching!

i have a question, with the neoair xtherm i need put under a thermarest Z Lite? thank you
@Enwild5 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for watching! The R-value of the NeoAir Xtherm is 5.7, so it's a well-insulated pad and probably won't need anything extra underneath. But if you want the extra insulation, you can definitely put a Z-lite under the Xtherm!

Hello! If you sleep on this mattress in the summer, is it hot to sleep on it?
@Enwild4 жыл бұрын
Hi Vadim! The pad won't make that much of a difference and should be fine to use. Depending on where you're at you'll probably be hot regardless of the sleeping pad you pick. Happy Trails!

What size is this one? Do you prefer the rectangle vs the mummy shape?
@Enwild6 жыл бұрын
This is the regular 20" x 72" size. The mummy shaped version saves on packed size and weight, but you get a bit more sprawling room and warmth with the MAX Rectangular size.
