You *looked* like you were having fun. So I agreed, and I absolutely love it. I didn't play a first generation so I have no comparison, but if you can, get your hands on a 2. I think you'll like it even better.

Question, will the speaker get damaged from the pick?? Most acoustic guitars have a pick guard because commonly the pick scratches the guitar. Is the material of the speaker vulnerable to being damaged?

I really want to get this but my main concern are parts replacement and service repair. Enya is not based in the Philippines. Compared to a regular guitar where parts and repair service are many. Not to mention the cost! Plus this can be considered under electric gadget which have a lifespan of 5 years more or less. Compared to a normal guitar that your grandkids may even use.

Impressive, outdoor simulated busking demo. Most don't demo that. Really leaning to getting this.I keep flip-flopping between this and the LAVA Blue but I think you tipped the scales.

​@@anubhavchhabra007 I'm really enjoying it tho the mic is a bit oversized for standard mic holders. The strap could be alittle longer, I'm nearly 6ft, a large guy. I need to improvise an extender. I get alittle feedback from the guitar amp and mic due to it sitting high on my torso, I play seated. the guitar seemed alittle heaviar in weight than I expected but now I've grown used to it. The more I play it the more I like it. The blue tooth speaker features are handy. The sound quality through the ear buds aren't real great but passable for late night practice while others are sleeping. Still evaluating, I had it for months but only recently started really getting into it, I have so many guitars to work with. It seems to need recharging my frequently tho I havnt exactly timed the battery life.

I was on verge to buy one. still am, I read some reviews about the English version of app not getting updates. is that a deal breaker? and I have read reviews of people saying the guitar won't turn on. any problems that you've been experiencing?

I was hoping to see an in-depth look at the app. The app is what really makes this guitar. Without it you're stuck with the out of the box settings. And apparently the guitar only lets you play for 10min before it shuts off if you don't register it through the app. I want to see what all the options are in the app and especially the vocal settings in the app when using the mic. What vocal settings and effects are there? And how do they affect the sound?

Great video, I just got the Nova Go with the Ai , the NexG is a bit pricey here in Australia and I would be concerned as what to to do if the electronics fail, I doubt it would be repairable by anyone other than Enya. At least with the Nova Go it sounds fine with no pickup.

I’ve tried one. I thought it would be like a travel guitar, meaning that it would not have the best tone. The phone app lets you play around with the EQ, and you can bring out the mids and roll back the highs. Since I’m an Ibanez player, I wondered if I could get a similar tone out of it. I believe that you might be able to by using effects pedals that you already own.

Looks cool and sounds good!! 😳But a word of caution!!😳 If you have a defective part, the guitar becomes totally useless!! And there is no support and no way to get the new parts. And electronics are not meant to last long these days.. If you have a ton of money and does not worry about the cons above go for it.. Don't fall for the cheesy paid videos.. If it is for a beginner (for you or your child) get a proper guitar (effects can be bought later if needed as pickups).. These are my options for beginners - 1. If you are on a good budget - Taylor Academy 2. If you are on a medium budget - Breedlove Discovery Concert 3. If you are on low budget - Yamaha F series Hope it is helpful to someone.. 😊

Hello! Thanks for the review! Tell me, is the top pad on the speaker a fabric or matte plastic? I want a white guitar like this, but if it's cloth, it probably wouldn't be wise to buy a guitar that gets dirty in a month.

Does the speaker eclipse the sound of the pick hitting the strings in person? Not sure if the studio mic is causing that but I noticed in all the reviews for this guitar that the pick is nearly as loud as the output.

I already purchased one of my own. Preordered on the first day and hoping to get it shipped soon. They said it would start shipping by the mid March. I haven't bought a new guitar for myself for almost 20 years. I'm a piano player mostly, but I like to dabble in guitar and I like odd weird instruments. Like my keytar. Thank you! loads more information on this review. I still can’t find the price for the charging stand. Perhaps it’s up on enya now? I’ll check. In the case that it’s not, do you have that information? I think we’ve settled on this guitar as we had budgeted for a new guitar this year anyway. After discussing it with my husband and my 11 y/o child (my kids and I play and my 11 y/o hasn’t stopped talking about it every time we practice with our older guitars) & after my oldest (who lives in Italy and plays via zoom with us) is begging for us to buy HER one as well (not happening any time soon!) we’ve solidified our decision to bite the bullet and purchase this one. Mainly because we have faith in Enya products & customer service, but also because we trust & appreciate your review and feel like it’s just going to be a fun guitar that we’ll enjoy playing around with both with the app, but on garage band, and just for funsies. I mean, it’s a pretty gnarly looking guitar no matter what. Lol Thanks again for the review. I’ll be looking into the stand & cost of stand as it’s definitely going to be part of our purchase. (Sorry for the long winded comment. Adhd can sometimes get away from me)

This thing is heavy... I bring it out 1 time and dread to bring it out to elsewhere with public transport. If you drive then it's not a problem. 2nd thing is the mic doesn't have a way to adjust the sound profile in the app. You can fine tune the sound of the guitar but not the mic.

After looking everywhere on the site (and after having ordered the NexG in pink at the current price of $799.00) I cannot find the stand anywhere on the site. I see several promos on the site with the stands, but I don’t see the stand as a standard purchase. Is there anyone here or from Enya that can answer how to purchase the stand? Or where to find it? Is it something that is coming? or only available for influencers, which would be highly disappointing as I would prefer a way to always have it out & charging.

You know looking at the upper most part of the guitar could be either done away with or modified so the part pressing up against your upper chest area ( breastes)for your (female) comfort. Just an idea.

what Enya and all theese „sponsored“ reviewers do not mention is, that you have to activate the guitar via a chinese suspicious link, otherwise it turns off after ten minutes. The sound is way to dull and the earphones are crap! And you canˋt modify the effects in the app. The manual is not in english but in hinese. So my 1000 bucks were a complete waste!😔

I have listened to several videos now of this guitar and have come to the conclusion it has a intonation problem inherent in the design. Also it has a very tiny sound to it regardless of which modeling you're using.
