This takes me back to last year when i was on the real Dark Sky Island. The Channel Islands. Herm. Beautiful, quiet, population of 100, no cars, no shops, bars, nothing, the stars were beautiful everything was peaceful. I listened to Enya at night while i sat on the beach after a 13 hour day in the kitchen and she just melted my stresses. Toes dug into the cool sad, the sky was black and the stars mesmerised me. My heart is still on that island with Enya.

Ok, I used to be stationed on a sub, in a certain liberty port quite a few of us saw the 'watermark' video. After a two-week excursion at sea, several of us couldn't get the song out of our heads. What was surprising was some of the guys that song affected, like, burly guys you wouldn't expect would come right out and admit that was a good song. As soon as I got back to port, I bought that cd, and the rest, is history. I think 20 guys wanted to borrow that cd so they could listen to it. Of course for some it remibded them of their wives; for others it relaxed them. That cd kinda changed my life, in a way!
