It's so interesting because this is the first album under the watchful eye of social media. I have never seen so many negative people "attack" Enya and her music. I'm an artist. I did not persue my art for 30 years because I thought it was frivolous. Then I remembered how Enya is what got me through some of the darkest years of my life. Even before this wonderful song existed! One day, in mid life, I thought "if Enya's songs helped me so much, who's to say my art wouldn't help at least one person"? So I changed my career. It took a decade to do that, but I don't regret it.

Egad, what they must be like to be that way. Ok, so maybe Enya isn't for everyone, listen to something that inspires and uplifts you, not full of angst, anger and turmoil. For me, listening to Enya has helped lift me through some dark and troubled times and has continued to bring joy. I was sitting on my living room couple days ago and suddenly I heard a very beautiful melody from tv and had to turn my head to see what was it about.
